The sound of the alarm can be heard in a black spacious room and a man wiggles under his blanket for a few seconds before sitting down as he finally gets up, rubbing his face slowly and stretching for a while. A whole sleeve tattoo can be seen on his right arm when he hops off the bed only with his boxers on as he walks to the bathroom to start his day.

As he walks out of the bathroom only with a towel wrapped around his waist, his phone rings, making him pick up the call with his deep voice saying, "Jeon Jungkook speaking, who's there?"

A man on the line says, "Mr Jeon, err where are you? Mr Kim is looking for you right now and he looked mad,"

"I still have one hour before I'm supposed to be in the office. He has no right to summon me there at this hour. Tell him that he can wait for how long he wants, I don't care because I'll only show up at Kim's Group when I'm supposed to," Jungkook's deep voice says as he hangs up the call without waiting for his secretary to reply anything.

"That old man keeps bugging me in my life!" Jungkook groans as he walks into the closet room to get ready to work.

Jungkook walks into the Kims Group, earning good morning greetings and bows from the staff there where Jungkook just gives them small nods with a little smile. The little smile immediately washes away the moment he enters his office room and is greeted by his father sitting on his chair.

"I supposed you already forgotten where's your office, Kim," Jungkook's deep voice beams through his office making the charismatic man in his 40s shoot his gaze up to his son.

"What a way to greet your father, Jungkook," Jungkook's father, Kim Namjoon stands up from Jungkook's chair and walks to the couch where they always have a discussion.

"Since when you're my father? My dad died years ago," Jungkook says, sounding so cold as he doesn't even spare a glance at the older man.

Namjoon's expression turns a little bit sullen at Jungkook's harsh remark but immediately covers it up and says, "I've interviewed all of them and I only hired this one intern to work in this company-,"

"Why did you always stir into my job? I'm the one who is supposed to interview them, not you," Jungkook snarls as he cuts Namjoon's words.

"If you keep doing this, then what's the purpose of me here? You don't even allow me to quit but keep stirring into my job," Jungkook says while glaring at his father or to be specific, stepfather.

"Out," Jungkook snaps. "Get out of my office," Jungkook says again in his cold tone as he returns his gaze to his paperwork.

"Ju-,"

"Just leave me alone, for god sake!" Jungkook lashes out, making Namjoon go silent before slowly getting up from the couch and walking out of Jungkook's office as Jungkook sighs heavily.

"Why is he still alive..." Jungkook groans as he pinches his nose bridge, not in the mood to do his work.

*knock knock knock

"Mr Jeon, the intern Mr Kim just hired will come in a few minutes. Should I send him here or you'll go to the meeting room?" Jungkook's secretary, Darren says the moment he enters Jungkook's office.

"Just send him here. I'm not making any effort for someone I didn't hire," Jungkook says, a little bit annoyed because of Namjoon's action.

"Alright then," Darren says and walks out of Jungkook's office.
