"JIMIN HURRY UP! OPEN THE WINDOW!" Jungkook screams while panicking as the smoke fills the whole kitchen making them hard to breathe. "JIMIN!" Jungkook yells again when Jimin is still frozen at his spot. Jimin slowly pulls himself together and gathers his courage to go near the window and open them.

The nerve-wracking moment takes a few minutes before Jungkook finally is able to take the situation under control. Now they just stand there, waiting for the smokes to slowly fade away through the window.

"Jun-Jungkook-ah..."

"If we late even for a few seconds more, the whole kitchen gonna exploded..." Jungkook says without looking at Jimin while Jimin has his head hung down low.

"He definitely gonna hate me even more by now," Jimin says in his head, feeling extremely guilty since what just happened was literally a dangerous one.

"You have any explanation to do?" Jungkook says, turning his body to face Jimin as Jimin looks up at him.

"...yes," Jimin says in a small voice as he can't help but feels so guilty.

"Tell me everything starts from the moment you walk out of my room. Don't leave any single thing, even a minor one,"

"Well err... After I run to my room... I took a quick shower and then planned to cook something for dinner since I still didn't take my dinner yet... The pan... I was about to grill some ham so while I'm cutting the ham, I had already turned the stove on but with the medium-high heat... But then it starts raining... I- I'll be honest with you... " Jimin starts explaining as Jungkook listens to him carefully.

"I'm afraid of those loud thunders and storms... I'm phobia of those things... Long short story, while waiting for the pan to fully heated, suddenly a really loud thunder strikes... It was really loud, Jungkook-ah... I... *sigh* I dropped down on my knees before collecting myself and dashing to your room... I'm sorry..." Jimin says with his voice getting smaller, already lost all his courage to look at Jungkook.

Jimin feels really bad thinking that because of his stupid phobia, he puts both of them in danger. Jimin decides to put aside his ego and walk closer to Jungkook, even though he's afraid of how Jungkook gonna react.

"Let's just dine in somewhere"

"Huh?" Jimin is confused by Jungkook's sudden words when he reaches right in front of Jungkook.

"You still didn't take your dinner so let's go out and eat something before calling it a day," Jungkook says, reaching out his hand to Jimin making Jimin looks at Jungkook's hand in confusion.

"But-,"

"Don't keep me waiting. Let's go," Jungkook says with a little stern voice making Jimin slowly move his hand and take Jungkook's hand before they out for dinner.

At the restaurant~

"Jungkook-ah... Can you please say something? Be mad... cuss at me... hit me... do or say anything you want... but please don't give me silent treatment like this..." Jimin says when Jungkook says nothing ever since they walk out of their house. Jimin doesn't even know whether Jungkook is mad at him or not.

"Eat first, can you?" Jungkook says to Jimin, making Jimin looks down and eat silently. As time goes by, they finally finish their dinner, and Jimin nervously waits for Jungkook to say something.

"I'm not mad, Jimin. Honestly, I'm not mad at all. I just worried that something might happen if we were late to turn the stove off. Don't think about it too much. Everything is fine now," Jungkook says in a not-so-soft but not-so-harsh tone.
