Hello my lovelies.

In this short chapter I'll be explaining how to make a crackship gif. Basically this contains characters from two different cinematic universes made to look like they're interacting n stuff.

Let's start, shall we?

1. Screen record the videos that you want to use from YouTube.

2. Open it in any video editor that doesn't have a watermark. I'm using iMovie just because I already had it on my phone.

• Trim it and adjust the order of your clips to your preference.

• You should probably slap on a filter so the gif looks more 'natural' and to add some uniformity

• If you want to add text then do it in this step. Create your text in IbisPaint x or Phonto and make sure to save it with a transparent background. Most video editors will have the option to add images onto your video clips. Use this to slap on some text onto your video.

3. Save your video and open it in any gif maker app. Use the app to convert the video into a gif and save it.

I used this app. I've always struggled to find good gif maker/ editor apps so if you have any suggestions please leave a comment :3

Btw this is the first crackship I've ever made lmao.

Important things to remember when choosing scenes:

• the lighting should be similar if not the same
• the colours/ filter should be similar if not the same
• your characters should have the appropriate facial expressions
• the scenes you use should have an appropriate background

The key is to make it as realistic as possible otherwise it will appear awkward and unnatural.
