chapter five

there I was, just standing there not knowing what to do as I looked him up and down, examining every part of his face to make sure it was actually him

All that fills the air is awkward silence, no one is saying a single thing

"I think we should go, this is awkward" finn says as Louis sighs and I feel someone pull my arm

sure enough it was Louis

"Look, I'm very sorry about everything y/n, I'm very sorry that I left you for someone else when I said I didn't, I'm sorry for fucking things up, I'm just sorry" he says as I just nod my head

"You should be sorry, for all the times I locked myself in my room and repeated in my head that I wasn't good enough for you" at this point I start crying when I was trying so hard not to" "you messed up Lou so I don't know if I can accept you're apology"

he looks at the floor and nods, not saying a single word, I loved him, to the point where I would've given my life for him and the worst part is, he knew that

"I loved you y/n, I would've showed it if you-"

"YEAH YOU PROBABLY WOULD'VE, BUT WHAT DID YOU DO, SPEND IT ON ANOTHER LOVE?!" I yell making people around us turn around, from the corner of my eye noticing Noah run up to us

"Woah hey, what's-" he stops his sentence once he looks at me and looking at Louis "I think you need some air y/n" he finishes saying as we start walking towards a blue bench placed in front of a little field of flowers

We sit down and as soon as we do I lay my head on his lap facing his stomach and curl into a ball, starting to cry

"If it makes you feel better, we could go to the park at 8:00 once you're done with homework of course"

"Yeah, I'd like that" is all I say while feeling my cheeks get hot

"Then it's a date"

"A what?"

"A date" he says rolling me over on my back cleaning away my tears just smiling at me, but he stops as soon as we hear a scream causing me to fall

"I took a pictureeee" Finn half sings half says "I'm posting, and you guys can't stop me"

I get up and snatch his phone out of his hands, deleting the picture entirely and handing it back to him, smiling

"hey! that's phone assault" he says as I look at Noah then look at him

"Phone what?"

"Assault"

"That's not even a word" Noah says as I laugh, while Finn just huffs and walks away

Without thinking I look in Noah's direction as he just smiles causin me to smile back.

am I catching feelings for Noah? no, he's just a friend right? I cant catch feelings for my bestfriend right? He wouldn't think of me that way at all

but little did y/n know, Noah was falling in love with her with every second that went by
