5: the preparations

Rushing around putting the finishing touches on the second floor and doing laundry left and right Thomas had come over the help both moved up to the third floor where it was just one big room that used to be y/ns room They were both talking and fixing stuff up the downstairs in the living room where all in order with the help of Thomas. y/n and Thomas were just about 2 move the bed want to knock was heard at the door y/n and Thomas looked at each other and nodded y/n rushed to the front door, " hello" she greeted the man at the door " hello ma'am we're here with your stuff where do you want us to put it?" one of the movers asked gesturing towards the truck" you can put it in the living room I'll sort it out later thank you"y/n said opening the door wider so the men could Bring her things in half an hour later after everything was in the house y/n tipped the Movers once they walked out and we're down the road out of sight y / n shut the door and walked up to the third floor to get Thomas" hey sorry that took a while would you like some lunch?"y/n asked to which Thomas gladly nodded.

Thomas and y/n had finished up cleaning and putting away boxes y/n Had set up a computer and a monitor in the study so she could write her books Thomas tilted his head watching her busy at work carefully connecting the wires to the computer it was 1 finnal plug going into the wall the screen turned on and was rebooting after that was all taken care of y/n and Thomas decided to go and take a walk y/n's sundress slightly swaying in the Summer Breeze hand in hand Thomas guided her through the woods until they came across this Small pond

They both sat on the bank against the tree" it's a beautiful day isn't it?" Thomas nodded his head tilted his head to the question He reached over and picked something up off the ground I handed it to you it was a daisy gladly accepting it the y/n put it behind their ear " it's beautiful, thank you" Thomas nodded and pulled her close to his chest and they relaxed under the shade For a Little while longer before they started to head back.

it was around two in the afternoon when y/n dropped Thomas off at home before heading over to the H-E-B stairway to heaven filled the silence. y/n was making a mental list of all of the things that would be needed for not only the house but also for the girl. there were these new prenatal vitamins things but they seemed to still be in the experimental stage.

So not trusting the vitamins just yet y/n decided to get the girl on a healthy diet of vegetables, meats, juice, and everything else she would need to have a safe pregnancy she has already been through a lot of stress and probably is still going through a lot of stress may be stress reliving tea would be beneficial y/n thought if she couldn't find a tea that would help she would have to visit the tea lady and her daughter.

turning into the parking lot and driving around a little while looking for a parking space y/n made her way into the store.

it was busy as usual mothers pushing their shopping carts with their children in the basket. teens trying food samples, y/n made her way through the isle's and grabbed the items she needed for the house on the way detergent, food, tea, a few maternity dresses, as well as some more seeds.

after that was purchased y/n stopped by a hardware store and purchased a chain, metal bars, and bolts as well as the proper tools to install them. after a quick trip to a gas station, y/n headed home.

after everything was put away y/n made her way to the room the picked out for the girl earlier she had gone through and made sure that there were no sharp objects in the room. And now y/n was going to attempt to put bars on the windows in the room Thomas had come by shortly after she had gotten back and insisted on helping so he was now on her roof and was going to help her stall the bars.

y/n stood on the inside holding the bars in place while Thomas bolted them into place with a final test to make sure the bars were secure.

after Thomas climbed down y/n was standing by him with a glass of sweet tea for him " thank you, Thomas why don't you come inside and cool off, and ill fix you up a snack?" y/n said as she handed him the cold glass Thomas accepted it nodding his head and following her inside.
