Ben's pov

Masky went upstairs after caco did,
Sally was sleeping next to me

EJ was near by half asleep,
LJ and Toby left soon after masky

I was bored
And decided to try and find where Jake could be, I got off the couch and went to my room

I took out my phone and used it to go to Jakes phone

I could see a gray concrete ceiling
It was barely lit by a single light bulb

I couldn't hear anyone so I exited the phone,I was on a white desk
In a makeshift office

No one was around,
The room was full of papers
And folders

And a computer with two screens
On the table I was on,
With a wooden chair tucked under the desk

'not much of a set up they have'
I decided not to get off the desk
Knowing I might not be able to get back up

The door was closed
But it had a picture on it with knives holding it up, someone has been throwing them

I could just barely make out the picture
My eyes got wide

'Offenderman.....'
It was more surprising they had a picture of him than the fact his picture was stated multiple times

'why would they have a picture of him...' I looked at the stacks of papers on the floor and desk

I went over to one of the stacks on the desk
And took one of the papers

It was full of addressed and all feminine sounding names

I looked thought it
I didn't recognize any of the names or address

'what is this?'
I took a nother paper
This one had a badly printed map of a town
With some places crossed over

I recognized it as the town offender is most active in

'are they hunting him? Why would Jake be here' I thought I heard a pair of foot steps
Coming close

I got back inside the phone and waited
A woman came into the room

She got close and took the phone
"Why isn't he here yet?!"
She shouted turning on the phone

"I thought she was important to him?!"
I was confused
Who was she talking about? Do they have one of his victims?

I still didn't understand what Jake had to do with any of this
'i know Jake hated offender but to help with someone like this? No way'
