I know it has been a while since the last time I wrote you a letter, I'm sorry about that. It made me so happy to see you a few days ago that I couldn't hold my excitement and decided to write to you as soon as I had the chance.
Since we stopped the rumbling, everything in my life has been such a rush: meetings, ceremonies, trying to rebuild society. Everything has just been so stressful and such a mess, the only time I can find for myself I make sure to write something for you.
Attached to this letter is one of my favorite shells. The day I found it was when we attacked your hometown and I'm so sorry about that, we never meant for any innocents to be killed in the crossfire of our problems.

I found it when I was getting on the boat before reaching the waters of Marley. Once I emerged from my titan, I saw you. The most beautiful girl I had ever seen in my entire life.
The look on your face shattered me into a thousand pieces but you still allowed me a chance to prove to you that I was worthy of your love and I can never thank you enough for it.
Back then, a couple years ago, I made you a promise and I intend to keep it. I promised to make you my girlfriend as soon as things got better and this letter is my official request: would you like to be my girlfriend?
I want to spend the rest of my not numbered days with you by my side, picking oranges or limes or any other fruit you might like on the garden by Mikasa's house. I want to build our own home by my friends' where we can live together and have our own garden.
I want to go to the beach and read you the book I've treasured my entire life. I want to feel the ocean hitting my feet as we walk past the waves, the water hitting our hair.
I want to bake pies and read books for our children. I want to be your husband one day.
So say yes.
