Imagine that your older sister was Sarah and that when she was getting accused of witchcraft and for apparently, bewitching the good pastor, Cyrus Miller.
You knew it wasn't true and you also knew that both her and Hannah would be hung if someone didn't do anything about it.
But then... Sarah promised you two would be reunited one day and confessed - taking the blame of "seducing" Hannah Miller.
"I confess." Sarah says to them. Then Solomon Goode tied the chains and rope around Sarah, but right before she's hung she says to the Goode, "The truth will come out. Maybe not today, and maybe not tomorrow, but it will." Sarah continues,
"The truth shall be your curse. It will follow you for eternity. I will shadow you forever. I will show them what you've done. I will never let you go." Before she was hung. You started crying and hoped what she said would be true.
After all, you had just lost your brother and your sister. Henry and Sarah.
