Imagine being Deena's younger sister and she was okay with you dying - if it meant that Sam lived and didn't get hurt.
"I can't let her die." Deena says to you. "So you'll let me - your younger sister, die?" You asked her. "Yeah, yeah I would.' She replied.
You looked at her and say, "Some older sister you are." You clearly sounded hurt that she would choose Sam over you. "Y/n, wait-" Deena started, but you interrupted her.
"No, Deena. Why don't you go be with your 'girlfriend' and stop worrying about your younger sister, who you would prefer to be dead."
You walked off to talk to Josh - your favourite sibling, while Deena was left evaluating what she had just said to you.
