"Welcome to my humble abode! Make yourself at home."

Hestia gestured to the large open space around her home where the fields of crops lay, a small stream went by her house, and the large Ruin Guard stood in front of them. Almost immediately Aether went to reach for his sword as Paimon gave a little squeal. Windy rolled her eyes as she hopped in front of them to stop.

"Hey guys, don't attack my friend!" Hestia said, standing next to Windy. "This big guy wandered into my woods not too long ago and I fixed him up with Geo and Pyro. He just roams the grounds to keep intruders out and doesn't bother me at all."

"But how can that thing be a friend? Paimon always thought Ruin Guards were scary..." The floating companion eyed the guard who looked over them.

"He is different though, he won't harm a fly. Actually, he would attack you even more if you attacked first." Hestia turned to the automan, tapping its knee. "You can go now, these people are my guest. I can vouch for them."

The Ruin Guard gave Aether one last look before walking off. Aether let his guard down and placed his sword back into his sheathe.

"Hestia, you live far away from Mondstadt. Have you ever been to town before?" Aether asked her as they made their way through the fields.

"No, but I've seen what it looks like from Windy! I see a strange bunny girl soaring in the sky. A little red girl with big explosives. A blue haired man with one eye took out some slimes the other day. I also saw a boy who walks with wolves of all creatures." Hestia tapped her chin, deep in thought. "Amid all of that I saw a strange girl accompanied by a crow, a blonde boy who sketched the scenery, and a red haired man who owns a big field like me! He uses it to make some liquids...."

Paimon gave her a weird look, hands on her hips. "So you say that you never been outside the woods or beyond the valley before?"

Hestia shook her head, wind sweeping her hair as she did. "I never felt like leaving nor did I ever even think of leaving. There's always a little voice in my head warning me to never leave Monstadt or else..."

Paimon gave Aether a look that read 'This girl is crazy!', which Aether shook off as he noticed a Geo and Dendro slime hop by and give the girl a cuddle. The Anemo slime communicated with the other two, making them hop with happy smiles. They trailed after them as they reached the house.

"Since the sun is down, would you like to stay the night? You can have the bed, I'll take the couch." Hestia offered, opening the door as the slimes brushed by her. "Since we had such a good harvest season, I'll even make dinner for all of us."

"Free dinner and we get to sleep? Sign Paimon up!" The floating fairy went to the table, startling Flamey and Shocky. "Oops! Paimon didn't mean to scare you guys!"

Dewey poked his head from under the table and stared at Paimon with fascination. Freezy came into the kitchen with drinks on its head and offered one to Aether, who politely declined. He was a bit wary at the fact a random human lived with monsters in the middle of the woods. Part of him wanted to inform Jean of the strange occurrences that were happening, but sat down at the table and watched the girl cook.

"Can you make Paimon some Fisherman's Toast?"
"Sure thing Paimon! Say, what kind of creature are you?
"Emergency food..."
"AETHER! PAIMON IS PAIMON!"
