BOBBY

We settle in on the plane and Jessa looks relaxed for the first time in forever. I reach for her hand and study her delicate fingers as they intertwine with mine. I can't believe this gorgeous woman is about to become my wife. "We're going to be married in two days."

"I know! Can you believe it's finally here?" I seriously can't. Time has flown by.

"I can't wait to see you in your dress."

"I can't wait to see you in a kilt." Her smile is huge and lights up her entire face. I feel so much relief that she's not this stressed angry version of herself anymore. "So can we go over the itinerary?"

"Sure thing."

"After we land there is a car taking us to the castle. You have all day to mess around with cake prep and stuff. I'll go over things with the coordinator while you do that. All of our wedding party is arriving today. The girls and I are going to the spa this evening. We'll be back before dinner. Tomorrow, is cake day for you. I don't want you to be hiding in the kitchen the entire day and miss out on our last moments as an engaged couple. So use your time wisely. Promise?"

"Promise, love."

"Friday night we will have our rehearsal followed by a dinner party. Some guests are scheduled to arrive tomorrow and the rest will be here Saturday morning. Then we get married." She smiles at me.

"Sounds perfect." I lean over and kiss her. "It's all going to be perfect."

JESSA

I settle into the bridal suite. Bobby and I aren't sharing a room until we're married. I know he isn't happy with this, but I think it'll make our wedding night more exciting. I already met with the wedding coordinator and now I'm sitting here with nothing to do for the first time in forever. I tried helping Bobby with the cake, but he wants it to be a surprise. So in the quietness, I think. Of course my mind is running in circles with the what if's. I need Bre to get here. I lay down on my bed to relax and I soon fall asleep.

I'm pulled from sleep by a soft knock on the door. Bobby walks in. "Hey gorgeous. Everyone is wondering where you're at."

I jump up and look around. "I didn't mean to fall asleep. What time is it?" I was trapped in a deep comfortable sleep and I still feel a bit out of it now.

He sits on the edge of the bed and pushes my curls from my face. "You must have been tired, love. I was so busy in the kitchen I didn't realize until Lottie came in asking where you were."

"Oh shit. Everyone's here then." Lottie was suppose to be the last to arrive. I can't believe I allowed myself to fall asleep.

"Aye. It's ok though. You're the bride. If you need a nap, you can take a nap. You do need to get ready for the spa though. I believe you leave soon."

"Shit. Ok. Can you send Bre up to help me?"

"Sure thing, love." He kisses my cheek and walks out.

I quickly change into leggings and a shirt. I'm going for comfort for this spa trip. I'll be dressed up a lot these next few days. I can't believe I wasn't up to greet everyone. Major failure there. I'm staring at my reflection when Bre knocks on the door. She runs to me squealing. "You're getting married!" She gives me a huge hug. "We've dreamed of our wedding our entire lives and now it's actually happening for you!"

"I know." Seeing Bre sends so many emotions through me. I've been waiting to talk to her, but now that she's here I feel like the words are trapped in my throat.

She steps back, staring at me. "Something's wrong."

"No."

"I can tell something is bothering you. I know you too well."
