Edie had always been fascinated by dinosaurs. They resembled an invisible string that tied her life to her mothers- a woman who was always wandering and never staying put.
A discovery Edie did not intend to find, however, was that the story she was told as a child was as real as the fossils she worked with.
A force that ripped the boundaries of space and time was supposed to be some fable to help her recover from a missing mother, not changing her life; gaining friends or losing family.
Everything she had learnt about the universe seemed wrong. Everything she had learnt about herself seemed confusing. Everything about the future seemed uncertain.

Edie is a story based on the ITV show, Primeval. In order for time frames to be clearer, I have changed a few dates of birth and the story overall has been pushed back to start circa 2016 rather than 2007 to make it a bit more modern. I hope you will enjoy it!
