Time sure seemed to pass for her
A girl who's head
Was constantly in the clouds
She went by the name of Willa
Willa Mongrove
The girl who never left
She'd always remained there
Never too afraid to look back
Or stand up for those who couldn't stand for themselves
Willa loved the region of life
Age did not clarify importance
For Willa had already surpassed
Those who were much higher in schooling
For she was only eight
And prepared to live
With no doubts
She was fearless
And kind
No one could even come close
To her happiness
It radiated off of her
Onto her family and vast acquaintances
It was extraordinary to see
For here was
A girl not even nine
Teaching us a lesson
About life
Willa proved to us
That no matter your age, race, or religion
We can all learn
To take a step back
And actually breath
Our lives are not meant for wants
It's meant to purify us
And set us free
For Willa knew generations
Before her own time
She was deemed to help
Turn us around
For the good
Thank you Willa
