《Sweater 》Fat Gum

You had thought today was going to be a slow and simple day however that wasn't the case at the moment as your hero costume had been ripped and burned exposing almost the whole upper right half of your torso after an attempted robbery. 

Letting out a sigh as you had apprehended 2 of the suspects you looked around to find something to help cover yourself up and as you were doing so you see Fat Gum who had also apprehend 3 other suspects approach you with his sweater in hand. Fat Gum having had notice that you were looking around while also trying to cover yourself up with your arms feeling all the stares you were getting he extends his arms out to you, "um please use my sweater, I can't help but notice the stares you are getting and feel that you might be uncomfortable with them" he says as he looks off to the side in embarrassment as he can feel his face warm. 

To Fat Gum you were his in terms celebrity crush or in this case, his pro hero crush. It was the same for you too, Fat Gum was your pro hero crush and you couldn't help but blush in embarrassment knowing that he had to see you exposed like that. 

But looking over that you gladly accepted his sweater, putting it on over yourself which obviously hung on your body as it was way to big on you yet it was the most comfortable thing you had worn since it was nice and warm and also had his lingering scent.

Giving him a warm smile you thanked him, "thank you, I'll return it to you as soon as I can" you say only to see Fat Gum shake his head, "it's alright, return it when you can, I know how busy things can get" he says with a smile.

~3 Days Later~

As much as you would like to keep the jacket you had washed it and once it was clean you couldn't help but wear it for a bit with how comfortable it was before taking it off and neatly folding it up and putting it in a bag so you could give it to him. 

Since today was your day off and you had decided to give him his jacket back today, you had decided to make him some lunch as thank you knowing how much of a foodie he was. 

Although you were fine in front of thousands of people, you couldn't help but feel a little nervous as you arrived in front of Fat Gums agency. 

Walking into his agency you were directed to his office and once at his office door you couldn't help but take in a breath before letting it out as you raised your hand up and knocked on his door. "Come in" you hear the man say. 

Opening the door to his office you see Fat Gum busy doing some paper work, "um, I'm sorry to interrupt your work but I just wanted to drop of your sweater you had given me the other day" you say faintly earning Fat Gums attention making him look up. 

Finally noticing that it was you who came in and not his interns or sidekicks he couldn't help but feel the heat rise to his cheeks realizing how messy his desk was with all his paper work he was going though.

"I already told you that you didn't need to give it back to me so soon since I know how busy you are" he says warmly as he gets up from his seat and walks towards you, "did you want something to drink?" he ask as he motions towards the break room as he takes the bag with the sweater from your hands. 

You shook your head, "it's alright, todays my day off so I thought I'd drop it off. I only came here to drop your sweaters so I'm alright without a drink" you decline politely before raising your other hand which had the bag with the food you had made for him. "I also made you some food as a thank you. I didn't know what you liked exactly so I made a few things for you. Hopefully they're to your liking..." you ramble on for a short while before cutting yourself off realizing that you were rambling. 

But of course, although you had declined his offer for a drink, you somehow found yourself sitting across from Fat Gum in the break room with a drink in hand as he ate the food you had prepared for him, occasionally giving you complements as he ate and talked with you. 

A good while goes by and you realize how long you've been there for as well as how long you've kept Fat Gum from his work. "Oh, I didn't realize how long we've been talking for. I'm sorry for taking up so much of your time" you say as you get up from you seat ready to take your leave. 

Fat Gum lets out a warm chuckle as he shakes his head, "it's alright, that was a nice much needed break from all the paper work I was going though. Let me walk you to the door" he says as he also gets up from his seat. 

Once at the door to the agency before you left Fat Gum had stopped you, wanting to ask if you would like to go out to dinner with him, "did you- um... did you want to-" he lets out a sigh as he stumbles over his own words. 

Looking at him confused for a moment you let out a heartwarming chuckle as your cheeks warm realizing what he wanted to ask you, "I would love to go out to dinner with you" you say with a closed eye smile making the man standing at the door blush as he couldn't help but smile back at you.

"I should have your number so I'll pick you up around 7, how does that sound?" he asks with a warm blush dusting his cheeks. You nod you head in response.

"7 sounds good, I'll see you tonight then" you say with a smile before heading out to wherever you needed to go as well as adding whatever you needed to get to get yourself ready for the dinner with your pro hero crush.
