The Dangers Of An Epidemic

There is an epidemic
Right now, in our world
Its name is coronavirus
And it's got our fingers crossed and curled

It has affected everyone
In a very negative way
It has made such an enormous impact
And made even the toughest people sway

The epidemic has ridden us
Of our comforts of going out
We now have to stay at home
And sit in our places and pout

We cannot go to school
Because of this plague
Nobody knows when this will end
Even the idea is vague

People who get this virus
Have been scared for their lives
When they start to feel the pain
It must hurt more than scalding knives

All of the countries
Have negotiated quarantine
Supposedly this disease
Is more dangerous than a mine

I hope that we can
Survive this pandemic
And cure all the people
Who might get sick
