Eiji
Eiji watched as his cousin and the rest of the band set up and got ready. He was exited to see what Uenoyama and his band had put together. He hadn't seen him in person in so long, he looked a lot taller. The music seemed to be starting, so he made sure that his camera was ready, and put his full attention to the song that had just started.

The singer took a breath, and sang his first words. Eiji snapped a picture. The rest of the band lifted their heads in surprise. 'That's strange, Eiji thought, maybe they weren't expecting him to sing? But that doesn't make sense, they should have practiced. Or maybe I am just digging where there is nothing to find.' Eiji tuned his hearing back to the singing, and was about to take a picture for the chorus of the song, but before he could, his camera dropped, and unknowingly, tears stared streaming down his face.

" you gave up your everything
And now it's just been wandering
And following me everywhere
The guilt from you won't die
And now I need to live and move on
The part of me that was you is gone
But you didn't let me say goodbye"

At that moment, Eiji was simultaneously listening more closely than before, and his mind was flashing back to his time with Ash. The song was beautiful. Somehow, thoughts that he had never been able to materialize, were just said before him. This boy onstage knew exactly what he was going through. And even though they had never met, Eiji felt more connected with him than he had felt with almost anyone in years.

As the song went on, Tears kept on falling out of Eiji's eyes. He had not even noticed them until the song was over, everyone was clapping, and someone tapped him on the shoulder and asked if he was okay. He had simply replied yes, and watched silently as Uenoyama led the singer offstage, who had his head turned down. Next, the bassist started apologizing profusely. A couple minutes later, Uenoyama came back on stage, without the singer, and they played the last of their songs, all instrumental.

The original plan was to talk to the band after the show, but Eiji decided not to, and left the area in a hurry. He ran, with tears that could fill buckets falling down his face. He ran into his hotel room and thew his body on the bed, making a huge thump when he landed. He tour his pockets inside out, looking for the little black case he carried everywhere, only to find it gone.

If he thought that he was breaking down before, he was wrong. His sobs filled the silent air, and all he could do was pound his fists on the bed. Why, why was it now that the universe decided he was not able to see Ash. He saw him everyday, everywhere, and now he couldn't see him the one time he thought he was ready.

He laid down on his bed, struggling to take in air, and by the time he was done crying, he was so worn out, that he fell right asleep, staying there until morning.

Uenoyama
Uenoyama was very confused, he was so focused on Mafuyu, that he did not even realize that his cousin had left. During the performance, Mafuyu had sung so beautifully, that he would bet money that no one in the room was not focused on him. By the time he had gotten back onstage, his mind was stuck in the kiss he just initiated. He was worried that he made the wrong move, but nothing could be done for that now.

Before he realized it, the performance was done, and his cousin was gone. He saw his sister and ran up to her. He then asked,
"Hey, did you see Eiji?"

She then replied, "Yeah, I saw him before the show, but we did not talk, then I think he left before it was over, so I could not talk to him."

"Thats strange," Uenoyama commented "I bet we will get to see him tomorrow at least."

"Yeah, probably," she replied, "Let's go home, okay?"

"Sound good, I'm really tired anyway" Uenoyama said. And they walked home.

Uenoyama got into his room and flopped on his bed, exhausted from everything that had happened that day. Overall, it was a good one, but so much had happened, and he was completely dead. He fell asleep with thoughts of Mafuyu, and his cousin floating around in his head.
