THE NEXT DAY:
The warm morning sun rises above the horizon, casting the sky and buildings into a deep orange. The quiet hum of motors fill the peaceful air of Miyagi where two particular siblings were getting ready for the first day of school for the week.
"Why aren't chu at pwactith?" You ask your brother as you lean against the bathroom door, toothbrush in your mouth. Your brother, who was walking out of his room, turns to look at you with tired eyes.
"We take the Mondays o- WHAT ARE YOU WEARING?!" He begins, only for him to slap a hand over his eyes. You raise an eyebrow and look down at your outfit which consisted of a baggy, button-up, plaid shirt and a pair of underwear.
"Clothes?" You shrug before turning into the bathroom and spitting out the toothpaste in your mouth into the sink.
"Wear more! At least do up the buttons properly!" Kentaro yells as he walks down the stairs to the bottom floor. You only raise your head to find your tired reflection glaring back.
"It's not that big of a deal." You grumble, rolling your eyes as you wipe your mouth with the back of your hand. You squat down to be levelled with the cupboard under the sink before opening it, revealing a pile of neatly folded face cloths.
It's true that you were only wearing a baggy shirt and a pair of underwear and that the first buttons of the shirt were undone, revealing your cleavage and leaving one side to slip down your shoulder. But hey, it's what you always slept in.
