Cam was almost crying. Except she couldn't. She wouldn't. Adam would hate it if she admitted it. He would hate her. But now she was under a pile of rocks, alone, alive and very much conscious. She was also outraged. She hated anyone who would try to do anything to her Adam. It wasn't fair. Why did she have to be the third wheel? Why did she have to be the one that everyone hated? Why did she have to be the one left behind under a pile of boulders? Come on. You can do this. Do it for Adam. She slowly, gradually, uncovered rock after rock.
