Book
My face was always in a book
Admiring the look of the different art on the covers
Reading the words on the printed pages
Thinking of how the story will eventually end
I can't wait to pick up from where I left off early yesterday morning
Moving over the old bookmark
That was actually a football game ticket
To read the paragraphs of words
That somehow painted a picture in the back of my head
I can imagine every scene in each chapter
Word for word
Cover to cover
My eyes will scan over each, and every letter printed on that piece of paper
Thanks to those fictional stories
I'm able to dive deep into a different world
A world that has mystical creatures and royalty
Even if its only for a few minutes each day
I will always have my face in a book
Admiring the front cover art
And scanning my eyes over the words written on the hundreds of pages

hey loves sorry that I have been kinda mia for a while I have been busy with school, cheerleading and mental health struggles. not just my own but my friends, they have been having a hard time and I want to help him. so that's what I have been doing. see you again soon<3
