"You at least warned me and I could tell you lost control. I know what it's like to lose control under a trance.......And I know that I can trust you..."I say
His eyes twinkled when I said that.
"What are you going to do with the mark?"He asks
"I think....I'll keep it.....Is that what you want?"I reply
He shifts over me with a slight grin.
"I mean yeah....I've always wanted to mark you........I just didn't think I'd do it like that...."He says
He sighs.
I place a hand on his cheek.
"But you did. And it's okay."I say
"Hey bro! We got worried when you didn't come home so-"Felicia begins, opening the door
We look over at her. She falls silent.
"Fal what the heck did you do last night?"She asks
"I marked my treasure."He says
"Where?"She asks
"The neck, duh."He says
"And why are you looking over him?"She asks
"We were discussing things."He says
"He panicked."I say
"Ah, makes sense. Also, your son wants to speak with you."She says
His face burns up and he climbs out of the bed, leaving with Felicia following. I got up and went through the day like everything was normal. My family had mixed reactions to the fact that I was marked. My mother was happy it was Fallacy and my grandma was angry that I was marked in the first place. Deccy has been all giddy with his new relationship status with Suave. Yeah, they're dating. I'm figuring out my feelings and what to do with them on the other hand.
A few weeks pass and I woke up to a knock at the door early in the morning. I answer to see Edward at the door. With a rose.
"Scram. My friend wants-"I begin
"Please give me a chance to speak. I see how happy he is with that other guy and that's all I've really wanted. So I gave up on him. But I can't help but admire you. You're smart, witty, strong, protective, and handsome...Though now I've seen through your bluff of having someone special. So please accept this rose and allow me to fill that gap."He says
