A few years passed and Pente recovers. Jasper survived his wounds but he is still recovering. Pente looked after his older brother but the entire camp took care of him and helped them too. Toriel comforted the two of them and their camp became a safe home for the two boys. Pente held onto a hope that his mother will be okay as well as Mr. Deccy.....He had no clue what was happening miles away. He even started to train with Asriel leading them. Asriel did a buddy system with training where trainees would be paired up to work together and train against other pairs or by themselves. Leo was paired with Pente and both of them grew to bond through their training, becoming the best dueling pair out of all the trainees, not to mention the strongest. But if they were to be set against each other, they'd both surrender or pretend fight. They couldn't bring themselves to hurt each other.
Next thing you know, Pente is eight, Leo is twelve, and Jasper is 14. Word has reached the camps about attacks on villages and recent news of attacks on their home village that caused Fallacy to finally take action and join what has become known as the War of Cultures and Beasts. No word on Encre or Deccy though.
Pente talked things over with his brother and decided to make the trip back home. Jasper couldn't go but he could and there was already a group in the camp planning to go over to help. It's been three years and their family must be worried sick or fearing the worst for them in this mess, not hearing a word about them either. Leo gladly joined him and soon they were riding ahead of the group on horses, following maps back home. The village came into sight with walls torn down, fires burning with wreckage everywhere. Then there were visible intruders still causing trouble. Pente heard Suave scream as guards or armored soldiers fought.
"Let go of me! Hey! Get away! Ow!"He could hear Suave yell
"Swa Swa..."Pente mumbles
"Huh, looks like your village has some guests. How about we give them a warm greeting? You ready?"Leo says, taking out his bow
"Do you have enough arrows?"Pente asks
"Mhm."Leo says
"Okay...Just be careful."He says
"You know me, Pente. I'm always careful with you. Let's do it."Leo says
Pente raises his hand and summons some magic. He takes deep breaths, keeping calm despite his anger at the attackers who dare lay their hands on his family, Swa Swa, or wreck his home.

Clouds formed and darkened the skies, pouring rain down.
"Perfect.~"Leo says, then pulls the reins of the horses
They ride into the scene quickly, Leo firing arrows rapidly and Pente threw daggers at any foe he saw attacking his neighbors or fellow townspeople. Teachers, bakers, friends, strangers, didn't matter. If he saw them getting attacked by foes or the intruding army that was acting like savages in his eyes, he would stop it. Their group quickly split up as the rain put fires out and they went to assist any survivors or find victims of the ambush while Leo and Pente continued to ride ahead.
