School just got done and Miya and I were planning on walking to the skate park to help reki prep for his big race.

"Hey you ready to go" Miya said walking up behind me

"Yup!"

We started to walk for about 5 minutes, we always get weird looks from people when we walk together, I mean it's not like we're holding hands or anything, people make the biggest deal out of the smallest things, it really gets on my nerves.

I was interrupted by my thoughts when I heard thunder, Miya shook up a little but me on the other hand, I LOVE THUNDER STORMS, suddenly there was a huge smile on my face when it started pouring rain without thinking about was I was just annoyed about I grabbed his hand and started running

I don't know what it was but running in the rain is something I always wanted to do

We were running and laughing while trying to reach the skate park, I was already drenched head to toe, same with Miya.

We arrived still pouring rain and I look at my phone not realizing I had gotten a text from Langa.

It read "Hey we're not gonna practice today cause of the rain sorry"

"Are you kidding, i missed a text from Langa and they aren't even coming"

I went to the middle of the park and lied down 

"What are you doing, your gonna get your uniform all dirty" Miya said

"It's already soaked what's a little dirt gonna do"  I'll just wash it tonight anyway and besides I've always wanted to lay in a thunder storm

I was surprised when Miya came up and lied down next to me, I felt my heart race, I've never been this close to a boy before that wasn't my dad or Langa and if I'm being completely honest I've been trying really hard to not start to like Miya, I have a bad habit of liking people way to quickly based off of how they look.

I looked over at Miya and he was just looking up at the sky. I kept looking taking in his face features, 'god damn it Miya your making it really hard not to fall for you right now' I thought to myself

He turned his head over and saw me looking at him he blushed and quickly turned his head back, I realized I've just been staring at him this whole time so turned my head right away.

I could feel our finger tips touching

I wanted to look at him again but I was to nervous

I slightly turned my head only for my eyes to be met with his. I could feel my face heat up, surprisingly neither of us broke eye contact.

Everything was perfect.

I hated the fact that this would have to end eventually.

Almost on que lighting striked.

Miya broke eye contact then got flustered

"Holy shit um we should probably start walking back we could probably die from something like this" I feel like he was making excuses cause he was embarrassed

"Oh um yeah probably" I definitely just jinxed myself

FUCK I FORGOT MY ROSE QUARTZ.

We started walking when we both got a notification

"oh it looks like school is closed tomorrow cause of a power outage" Miya said looking down at his phone then he looked at the time

"SHIT how is it so late already"

I mean I guess we were there for a while but it didn't feel that long

"Agh i still have like a 20 minute walk back to my apartment from this skate park" I said groaning

"Um my house is only like 5 minutes away from here, I'm sure my parents wouldn't care if spent you the night if you just slept on the floor.. BUT ONLY IF YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE YOU KNOW"

I felt my face heat up was I really gonna have a sleepover with Miya.

"Yeah I'm fine with that, thanks Miya"

When we got to his house we went to his room cause his parents work late I guess and he set up some blankets and pillows on the floor.

"Oh um I can give you some clothes to wear to bed, unless you want to sleep in a soaking wet school uniform" He said picking out clothes

"Sure"

He handed me some sweatpants and a hoodie

"You can change in my bathroom"

it felt like wearing your boyfriends hoodie, god I hate this feeling I refuse to fall for him

After about an hour of watching random shows we decided to try to go to sleep.

3:24 am

"Hey, y/n, are you awake" I could hear Miya whispering

"Yeah"

"I can't sleep"

"Me either"

I could still hear the rain out the window it hasn't slowed down at all.

"I have a question"

Shit

It's that time of the night when things get deep

"What is it"

"Do you ever think about your future"

To be honest I think about it a lot, I've always wanted to open up a little crystal shop and sell Tarot cards and stuff like that, give out readings and maybe teach kids my age about their spirituality.

"Yeah, a lot actually. What about you"

He turned around in his bed so that he could see me

"Sometimes, what do you think yours will look like"

"Well I want to open a crystal shop and sell things like tarot cards dream catchers and lots of stuff like that, give out readings and maybe have times to teach people my age about their spirituality idk"

"Damn what do you mean idk. That sounds pretty figured out."

I just laughed "yeah I guess"

"I'm gonna be honest with you y/n. All I can think about is that damn lovers card and the one that meant new beginnings. I can't believe I'm saying this.. I've been maybe thinking that the new chapter in my life is being with you. Fuck I did not just tell you that"

Did I hear him right he thinks the card has to do with me? I don't know what to say to that

"Well our zodiac signs are really compatible they say it's like love and fire that could last forever, we can get true joy just from togetherness"

"Forever" Miya said

It went silent

"Would you ever leave me. Apparently prone have a tendency of sound that to me"

"Wouldnt dream of it"

"Thank you. Y/n"
