-Many years later-

-Your pov-

I was sleeping soundlessly when someone disturbed my sleep. I yawned and opened my eyes lazily. I was met by the summing of a little moth, stirring right in front of my nose. It wished something. "Gandalf calls for you, Alleta. Meet him at the borders of the Shire," it whispers. Then it flew away. I thought a moment if I should go or not. I haven't been outside this mountain for the first day of the Arda, save those times I had went out on a hunt.

Eventually, I raised myself from my sleeping pit. I had built a little nest of some dwarves' clothes that were on the dead bodies of the dwarves that filled the lower chambers Erebor. I made my way to the gate when I was stopped in my tracks by a tail blocking my way. Don't get me wrong, I could easily jump over this tail but that would hurt the owner of it.

"What do you want, Chieftain?" I growled irritated. Smaug then came into my view. "Where are you going, Violet?" He asked. His voice was serious and he held no expression on his face. I groaned before answering. "I will go out for a while, do not expect me back for a few days." Smaug's eyes widen and he opened his mouth in protest. But I just ignored him and went out of the gate.

When I was outside, I felt the fresh air fill my lungs. I closed my eyes, taking a deep breath, and then opened them again. Then I spread my wings. They were decorated by violent scales of moonlight and in between, it was pierced small rubies and crystals. It made my hide extra hard so not even a back arrow could pierce me. I was not afraid of arrows or any weapon of any kind.

I lifted them and in one strike they lifted me high in the air.

-time skip, at the borders of The Shire-

I landed soundlessly in the line of trees that showed that the shire begin. I shifted into a human before going out in the light again. Soon I heard the sound of a horse neigh through the silent wind. A friendly smell filled my nose as Gandalf dismounted his steed.

"wux relgra ve, svabol ui|ulph dout dril ihk coi sia danthe Gandalf?" I said, using the dragon language so no one could understand us. "Im is an cin na join a conpanui -o 13 dwarves i are na reclaim their homeland." I rolled my eyes at the thought of dwarves. Don't judge me but im not very fond of dwarves. They are so careless and don't care about anything nor anyone worth lesser than themselves. And now the Vala had set me out to join a company of these beings. I groaned before turning my head again to Gandalf.

"si geou demak, svaklar ui wer tafiafir goawy?" I said. Gandalf grinned and mounted his steed again. " govanneth near na- at i car -o Bilbo Baggins. Im will ech- sure cin rad- hon car. Thír an i taith bo i fen. Until then, nin meld lúg freind" He said before urging his horse further in the forest of the shire. I followed swiftly after, transforming myself my a purple wolf with EY/C eyes. (Y/C: your eye color)

I ran towards the shire, soon I could see homely lights in the windows. It looked peaceful. I grinned at the thought of seeing a small being as a hobbit. Soon I was at a green carved wooden door. I steadied my sword against my hip and made sure my bow and daggers were placed firmly on my back. Then I knocked, two times, both gently but stern.

 ------------------

I was sitting at the wooden table as it was a knock at the wooden door again. This time a bald, buff dwarf was standing in the door opening. I recognized his smell as one of the warriors of Thror and a good freind to the young dwarven prince, Thorin. I pulled my hood longer down over my face, shielding my Y/C eyes. Small locks of my blonde-black hair dripped down over my nose, tickling me slightly.

"kii ui wer heir di Durin tenpiswo persvek wer shire? Gandalf said coi jahus gonna qe vi tundartor tarannen shar ti wer heir di durin." I whispered silently for myself in dragonic. This caught the attention of the dwarf who listen to the name Dwalin. He glanced at me but nothing more before he sat down and started to devour poor Bilbo's food.

----------

"So how's the news? Are Dain with us?" I hear the dwarves talking but do not interfere. "Alleta, come here," Gandalf said, patting the chair beside him. I stood up out of the shadows and made my way to the table where the dwarves were sitting.
"This is Alleta, she has been in Erebor before, right dear?" Gandalf asks and I nod.

Thorin looks at me with suspicion showing in his eyes. "Of what use may a woman be to this quest?" I scoff at his words. "I have frightened more battles than you, young prince. I felt the fire of the serpents in the north. I faced Smaug the terrible and he did not hurt me. I live in Erebor, my dear Thorin. I lived there since the Valar made it. They made it my home. Then you dwarves came and took the rest of it. I was pressed back to the dark halls further in the mountain. I will join this quest whether you like it or not because I want my friends of old to return to their homes. That's what you can use me for, dwarf king" I said. Thorin was silent.

-a/n pov-

Gandalf sighed and showed Alleta an old map of Erebor. "This map, I can not read its runes. We must make to someone who can" she said. Her eyes moved from one dwarf to another. Then they, at last, landed on Gandalf.
"Is this why you need me, old friend? To slay Smaug and help you reclaim Erebor from one of my kind." She said in his mind. Gandalf nodded. She sighs before moving over to the fireplace.

There she sits on the couch and looks into the fire, feeling it calling out to her. Soon she started to sing, a soft tune that sounded like the dripping of water.

"Hail the king under the mountain!
A new king arises
to reclaim his deathless throne
The world is grey, The mountains old
Nowhere's home, No stars above us all

Dark is the chasm of time
Where all are drowned
No gold ores, No hammers fall
Nowhere are chants, Sung by Durin's folk

Shades haunt and hover in the night, n Khazad-dum
Sons of Aulë, answer to my call
Bring back the shining to the frozen halls

Blow the warhorns, let them be heard
Light the forge abandoned to the mold
Sons of Durin, answer to my call
Bring back the shining to the frozen halls

Blow the warhorns, let them be heard
Raise your hammers and
Far is the age, Empty is the throne
Dark the morn

No lanterns burn in the halls
Ashes and bones of our kind
Upon his cairn made of stone
The fallen reign of the dwarves
Glows like embers under the stone
Buried and maybe forgotten
But still burning on" the dwarves were looking at her where she sat.

She looked much like an elf but had eyes like a dragon, a blue-purple with a slit in the middle. Her ears were hidden by her blonde black hair who curled down over her shoulders like a shield. On her fingers sat 3 golden rings and 3 made of silver. The 1rt golden ring had a green emerald embed, and on the 2nd, a bright purple one. The 3rd bore a stone light as the sun and had markings down around it. All her rings had markings. Small dragons flew around them and seemed to be chasing each other.

It stirred in the young prince Fili to ask what each of these rings meant but something told him that she would not tell him right away.

"Are you gonna stand there and stare at me or are you gonna come and sit down?" Her voice was clear. Something in her voice made them turn their heads in embarrassment and come to her side.

"You can have the fireplace, i am done with this for tonight. Good night, the sons of Durin." She said and retreated to the more silent rooms of Bilbo's house. When she found a good place, she laid down and waited for her dreams to come and take her with them. They did. And she slipped into a dream full sleep.
