"Are you ready for movie night!" I grinned, pulling the DVD from the cabinet.
Felix just cringed at me. "Why are we watching horror... I hate it."
"It's the best way to get the heart pumping." I shrugged, placing the DVD in, going over to cuddle next to Felix.

"What's the movie called?" He asked.
"House of horrors or something." I shrugged. "Oh- let's not play it yet! Let's invite the boys over! Apparently it's really scary." I chuckled, pausing the TV as the entertainment companies flickered on screen, pulling my phone out and sending all of Felix's friends messages, as well as my own.

Most responded, saying they would be here soon.
"So movie night has turned into a giant sleepover.. alright." He said with a slight nod, before he began grinning, jumping up over the back of the couch.
"I'll get popcorn!!" He exclaimed, running to the cupboard.

"Don't burn it!" I yelled back to him.
He pulled his head out from the cupboard, frowning.

"You're the one who burnt it last time, not me. I'm the next Gordon Ramsey, thank you very much." He snorted.

"A very passive Gordon Ramsey." I scoffed.
"I can be aggressive if I want!" He yelled back.
I just smirked. "Alright." I moved to sit at the table as he wandered around the kitchen. "Try me- be aggressive."

He glared me down.
"Now listen here you son of a pineapple I will beat your nose in with marshmallows if you don't stop insulting me." He grumbled.

I just broke out in laughter.
"What the hell does a pineapple have to do with any of this?? Oh my god.. you're too funny." I chuckled.
Felix just ignored me, putting the popcorn into the microwave, watching it whir, popping endlessly.
I heard the doorbell ring, causing me to run away, opening it frantically.

"Hello! Welcome to the horror house~" I joked.
"Yeah yeah.. I brought snacks! I hope the movie is as good as you said it was.." Bang Chan said, giving me a quick hug, before he walked into the kitchen with a bag of marshmallows in hand.

"Felix look, marshmallows! Try beat my nose in with them!!" I said, before curdling over and laughing again.

Felix pulled one out, throwing it at my head, before fiddling with the microwave again.

Bang Chan just blinked in confusion.
"What did I miss?" He questioned.
"Felix tried to be aggressive." I shrugged.
"Ahh.. He's not very good at that." Bang Chan chuckled.

The doorbell rang again, and I rushed back to the door.
Han, Lee Know and Mya had arrived.
I gave Mya a hug. She was my only friend who arrived that I didn't meet through Felix.
"You ready for the scariest night of your life?" I joked.

Mya just scoffed. "Try me."
"Challenge accepted." I grinned.
Hyunjin arrived next, with a whole bag of clothes, food, make up, and hair treatment.
I raised an eyebrow at him.

"Have you decided to live here or..?" I questioned.
"No." He retorted. "I need to keep my hair nice, and staying in the same clothes for over a few hours makes me feel itchy- it's a pretty people thing." He smirked.

"Thank you very much I am beautiful. You're just weird." I said, taking his bag from him and running it to the living room.

He chased after me, tumbling over the couch on top of me.
"Ah ah, bit close." I joked.
Felix glared down at Hyunjin.
"Hyunjin, bit close to them, aren't ya?" He questioned.

It was then when Hyunjin noticed he was right on top of me, merely a rulers length away from my face.
He pulled away in embarrassment.
"Sorry.." he whispered.

"You're alright, he's just being protective." I said, patting Hyunjin on the shoulder.
The doorbell rang again, causing me to rush up again.

Jeongin and Changbin were at the door, take away in hands.
Seungmin arrived shortly after.
Everyone was here, so we all gathered around the living room, sitting on sofas and beanbags, the lights dim, as I finally decided to turn the movie back on.

I was sitting in between Felix and Mya on the couch, as the movie rolled.

Let's just say there was a lot of blood, and screams.

"This movies boring- what year did it come out, anyway?" Han asked.

"Uh, the DVD didn't say.. lemme check the internet." I said, looking it up online.

No results.
"That's odd.." I whispered.
"What?" Changbin asked.

"There's nothing about it online. No reviews, cast, rating, anything." I said.

"Where'd you buy it from then??" Mya questioned.

"The video store on the corner." I said.

"That's been closed for ages.." Bang Chan pointed out.

"I bought it from a man like a week ago.." I said, my mind racing with confusion.

"Let's just turn it off." Han suggested, turning to the DVD player.

Only to knock a cup of lemonade onto it, causing the player to fizzle, a bright bang of light appear, and for us to be sent into darkness.

Then the TV went static, a large phantom-like hand reaching through, grabbing at Han.
Then he disappeared.

"Han??" Lee Know yelled, getting closer to the TV.
He disappeared as well.
I felt my heart pounding.
The static grew brighter and brighter, until I had to close my eyes.

My friends were all yelling.
A deep laughter, belonging to no one, rang through, crackling, wicked.
Then I felt as though I was being swallowed, and then I felt a thump beneath me.
It was silent.

I looked around, to be in an unfamiliar environment.
I could feel my heart pounding, as I looked around the house.

A large wooden cabin.
Like the one from the movie.
I could hear screams from the other side of a door. Not my friends. The characters.

I was inside the movie.. somehow..
This wasn't good.
The movie, house of horrors, was a selection of short horror tales.
This, is tale one.
The Woodside killer.
