You giggled as you heard the trio of friends enter your room, their loud footsteps echoing throughout the enclosed space. They had shut the door so that you wouldn't be able to escape, which was a smart tactic, but they would soon see that being short and quick has its advantages when coming to this game.

Malaysia checked underneath the sheets and bed, but you weren't in either of those areas.

Indonesia looked behind the curtains of the window and other furniture, but you weren't there.

Philippines thought of one last place where you could hide, and with his two friends, they swung the doors of your closet open.

Making sure not to mess up the cleanliness of your closet, they only moved aside the hung up shirts. Unfortunately for them, they couldn't find you.

Only if they had searched harder.

The gang closed the doors, but stopped when they heard a giggle coming from inside the closet. They opened it once more and this time examined the edges of the cramped place.

"Hey, I found something!" Philippines pointed to a small hatch-like door on the side of the closet.

"Oh, sneaky little (Y/N)." Malaysia said, putting her hands on her hips with a smile.

Indonesia pulled the small door open and discovered you hiding inside. You giggled and threw your hands up in the air.

Philippines booped your nose. He picked you up and brought you out of your spot. "Boop! Found you pipsqueak!"

"Again, again!" You clap your hands together.

Indonesia and Malaysia nod.

"Sure, who wants to—"

The creak of your bedroom door unlocking interrupted you.

"Your game will have to continue later." UN said with his arms crossed, but just to point out, he wasn't angry. "For now there are many guests downstairs who are waiting to greet and meet with (Y/N)."

"Aww, alright." Philippines went up to your father and handed you over to him.

"Go ahead and eat, the food is ready in the kitchen." UN addressed the trio, and within seconds the friends were out of the room.

"Germany?" You stared up at your father, asking whether he came to your party or not.

He shook his head with a frown. "You know that he's busy with his family."

You tilted your head downwards and sighed, frowning.

"I am upset too that he has never come to any of your birthday parties, but maybe he will come next year." He tried cheering you up.

He told you that every year. He'd tell you again and again each year that Germany would come to celebrate with you and your friends, but it never happened.

At this point you were losing hope.

You were taken to the living room where different countries were chatting amongst one another and eating. The first group of countries to see you were Poland, Austria-Hungary, Belgium, and Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.

"Oh my! There they are!" Belgium extended her arms out and gently took you from your father's arms.

You smiled brightly. "Hi."

"Look how fast you are growing!" Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth exclaimed happily.

Poland ruffled your hair. "It's been a while, (N/N)! How have you been?"

"Good." A light blush appeared on your face.

"You have been eating your fruits and vegetables, right little man/lady?" Austria-Hungary put his hands on his hips and formed a judgmental facial expression.

"Bleh, disgusting." You stuck your tongue out, making the countries around you laugh. UN laughed as well.

"A.H is right though, (Y/N). You must eat your fruits and vegetables to grow big and strong." Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth said. "Milk also builds up strength."

"No." You shook your head.

Poland thought of an idea and turned to you. "How about this? If you eat your fruits and vegetables everyday, then we reward you with something special. Does that sound okay?"

You nodded. "Candy?"

"Yes, candy, but you have to limit how much of it you eat. Okay?" You agreed to Poland's idea.

"Okay!"

You were taken around the house, greeting different organizations and countries who had managed to make it to your party. This year there were a lot more people than UN had expected, and you found it incredible. You felt joyful and grateful.

While no one was looking, you snuck outside the front door. For what reason you may ask? Well, you thought that you saw a pair of eyes staring at you through the living room window. However, once you made it out, you saw that nobody was in the area.

Confused, you turned around to head back inside. You look back one last time before entering the building, but you still see nothing but bushes and trees.

You walked past the guests and greeted anyone who waved or looked at you. Heading into the kitchen, you grab a small turkey leg and a plate, afterwards going upstairs and into your bedroom. You sat yourself down upon your chair and set the plate on the desk in front of you.

Grabbing a paper and some crayons, you begin to draw whatever animal or object came to mind. You took a bite out of your turkey leg from time to time until you finally finished your drawing.

Spinning around on your chair, you walk up to your door and get onto your tippy toes to grab the doorknob. Your fingertips were about an inch away when suddenly a shadow loomed over your small body. You tensed up and slowly turned around, a blood curdling scream erupting from your mouth.

UN heard your scream and immediately rushed upstairs into your bedroom. When he unlocked the door and swung it open, there was nothing but a shattered plate and a half finished turkey leg on the floor.
