Y/N Alora Darlington is a mermaid princess when her 11th birthday came her and her parents are going to the surface in their own house for Y/N's surprise,when they got there it was already decorated but then Y/N heard a tapping sound so she followed the sound and saw an owl,she slowly move towards the owl she opened the window to let the owl in,when the owl was in the house she walk towards it she saw something in it's leg she saw a letter tied into it so she took it.
When she took it the owl flew out of the window,she jumped from the sudden movement and looked confused (they didn't know the wizarding world)so she ran to her parents and give them the letter.
