Chapter 15 - Having to stay strong

It's been 2 weeks since mom is in the hospital. I go every morning to see her blank face. She is still in coma. My heart is broken. I feel empty. It feels as if all my strength in me is gone.

I got up today as if I had been bitten by a zombie!
I felt dull but I still smiled cause am an angel 😇.

"Charlotte wake up" I scream as I walk towards her room
"Yeah am up" she says , her voice was as deep as a man going through excessive puberty!
"Are u ok?" I ask
I hear her cry
I open her door and find her sitting on the floor. She was on her knees , crying very badly.

I hug her tightly .
"Everything will be fine, mom will come home soon" I say while kissing her on her forehead.
"No moms never coming back , she's dead" says Charlotte in tears
i gasp and say "she will just pray for her and I swear everything will be Alright" I say
"I hope so" she says
"Now u get ready while I will make ur breakfast" I say

I wasn't going to school. I can't. In this situation no way!
I brush and go downstairs.
I grab lucky charms And milk.
I put in a bowl and put it on the table.
"Charlotte come down breakfast is ready" I say
"Coming " she says
Charlotte has her breakfast and leaves.
"Bye enjoy" I say while kissing her forehead.
"Yeah right" she says

In the evening

Suddenly I hear my bell ring.
I open it and to my surprise it was Tom.
"Hey" I say
"David is a Bloody Jerk" he says
"What are you saying?" I say
"Apparently David is dating Georgie" Tom says while throwing his bag on the floor
"What!" I say
I fall on my knees and cry badly
I thought he was the one. One to make me special. I guess I was wrong. I knew boys were just jerks.
"Emily forget him" he says while hugging me
"I can't Tom , I loved him , he made me feel special and now...." I start to cry very badly
"It's going to be alright"he says
*ring ring*
I pick up my phone.
"Emily you have to come to the hospital immediately" says one of the nurses.
"Is everything....." I say
Before I could finish she hung up.
Tom and I drive to the hospital.
"Mom" I say while running towards her room.
As soon as I enter I see DAD!
My dad is a criminal. When I was 2 yrs old he left my mom and me and robbed a bank. He killed so many innocent people. Today for the first time I saw him.
"What are u doing here?" I say very angrily
Tom grabs my arms and pulls me back away from "DAD"
"I am here because she's in coma" he says
Then suddenly the doctor opens the door.
"Sir how is mum?" I ask
"She is dead" he says
"Her heart beat has stopped" he continues
"I'm sorry"
"Noooo mom" I say
I fell on the ground crying like hell. My eyes were red everything was blurry.
Tom picks me up and carries me to the car. My " DAD" follows him.
Tom puts me in the backseat and sits in the front seat.
My "DAD" opens the door to sit and Tom says
"Excuse me but I don't know you , u r a prisoner so just go die" Tom says
