I shouldn't have agreed.
We worked until maybe around 10 pm, when we finally finished everything, though who am I to complain?
I spent most of the time laying my head down and making a fuss about everything, mainly at him.
And though I could tell my whining was very much bothering him, he didn't dare say a word back at me.
With this being his idea and all, full well knowing I wouldn't just willingly work with him after being shook awake, he was sure of not talking back.
It was a bit amusing.
"God, finally."
-I say, standing from my chair as I walk away from the desk, leaving Tom to collect the finished papers.
I stretch my arms out hard as I yawn.
Tom stands from his chair, flipping through the papers in his hand.
Double checking.
Typical Tom.
As he finishes, he grasps the small stack in one hand, directing his gaze to me.
I stared back at him, leaning against my window as I waited for him to understand.
"What..?"
-He says quietly, clearly clueless.
"My medicine."
-I answer, holding my hand out.
"You don't need it. You're not sick."
-He responds.
"Tom. You gave me your word."
"You shouldn't be taking medication for something like this, it'll make you ill."
My hand slowly falls back to my side.
