Anything you want in this world.

It's been about an hour since D'Angelo's company had arrived. They decided to go have a chat before coming and joining us in the living room. I couldn't lie and say I wasn't surprised that they actually spent time with us, I figured they'd be too busy discussing things like galleries and art shows.

The guys had grabbed a drink of their own before joining us. I glanced at Lauren her posture was tense but it look like she been trying to hide it so no one would notice.
Feeling my eyes on her she turns her head looking at me in my eyes.

I quirk my eyebrow asking if she's OK. She gives a subtle yet noticeable nod. Although she said she is, it's obvious she's not. I jut my head towards the exit of the door signaling for her to follow me.

As I stand up to make my departure from the living room everyone notices and all eyes are on me.

"Where you going?" Connie askes rushing to stand up with me. "Where ever it is I'm going with you."

I raise my eyebrow. "to the bathroom?"

There was a quiet pause.

"Yep."  She began to walk past me and out of the living room headed to the bathroom.

"Okay...." I follow after Connie watching to see Lauren get up and follow soon after. Once we all made it to the bathroom I close and lock the door being sure to keep my voice quiet.

" What's up with you? you've been quiet and tense all night I can see it." I nudge her arm.

Lauryn sighed shaking her head slightly. "That him......". Confused I look at Connie to see if she had any clue what she was talking about. After a minute or two of trying to figure it out, it finally clicked.

"Oh my god, THATS him?" Connie gasped exaggeratedly. She had more than two drinks so I'm pretty sure she was more than tipsy right now.
"Why is he here though? I though he left after you know...what I saw.". Lauryn shook her head.

"I knew Angelo was expecting him so while he was in the shower I went outside to greet him before Angelo knew he was here. He came a little early so we'd have time to talk, but he just stayed outside in his car until it was time for Angelo to expect him to be here.

I furrow my eyebrows. "But I saw him pull off..." I said, confused as ever trying to price this all together. "No he just drove around the block so it would seem like he'd just been pulling up....this isn't the first time we've done this..." Lauryn shakes her head before looking to the floor. " and I know it's wrong I just can't help it, one minute I'm saying how we should end things because we both know it's not right but then the next...." She trails as if she'd zoned out into space. "Then the next minute he's pulling me closer and closer, giving me these amazing kisses that I can't get enough of, then he's saying these things that make my heart beat at a thousand miles a second and I just...." She sits on the toilet with her head in her hands. "What did I do? How did all of this get so...?"

"Messy?" Connie and I say simultaneously earning a soft glare from Lauryn.

"So you've been with this mans Bestfriend, damn near his brother, running around behind his back literally for how long?" I shake my head not being able to wrap my head around it all. I know Lauryn had cheated and had been cheating but to this extent. I was truly shocked and disappointed.

"Two and a half years...." I shake my head at the word that were just said.

Wow. Two and a half years? TWO AND A HALF FUCKING YEARS??!

Connie slid down the wall taking a seat across from the sink as I sit in the bathtub. "Why Laury? When Angelo can literally give you anything you want in this world. Why?"

"What i want he can't give me.."  Lauryn stood up and went to the sink splashing water on her face. Connie and I glance at each other.
"And what's that?" I ask. There was a long quiet pause before Lauryn spoke again. Looking at us while unconsciously twiddling her fingers. "I-I it's not for me to tell but, he- umm"

She choked up. Her voice became shaky. "He uh, he c-can't produce umm....." she took a deep breath.

"He can't give me children...that's the one thing i want in this world, that he can't give me. Children...."

A/N: WHOAAAAA. Who else saw that coming?? Because I surprise myself with this one lol. Now I know some of you guys are fed up with me because I have not been updating this book at all and I take Full responsibility for that. I've just been really busy with my life lately I finally got a job and I've been working really hard to save up for the goals I wanna reach. But I promise you guys I have not forgotten about you or this book or any of my other works, I promise I have thought about updating every day I just have not been able to get around to it. I have also been dealing with very bad writers block, but I was able to pump this one out. Writing in this chapter did help me a come up with more ideas for the next chapter so I will be updating again soon, possibly in the same day, so please do keep an eye out for that. I don't think this chapter is super long or super short, but I just had to give you guys something quick because I know I got a comment on one of my previous chapters telling me to update so I have for you guys hopefully you guys like this chapter it's not too much but I just wanted to give you guys more of a little story to see why Lauryn did what she did and what else is going on but things will get even better in the next so please do anticipate the next chapter.
