Kokichi POV

(P.S: this is the final period so yuh)

"Okay- no Shuichi in sight so fa-" As I saw Shuichi turn the corner I immediately hid in a nearby open classroom before he can spot me

"Ouma-Kun?" A voice behind me said

I turn around and it was none other than Kyoko Kirigiri

"Ohh heyyy Kirigiri-San!" I tried to act natural which is nearly impossible cause this woman infront of me can figure out any situation in the span of 10 seconds

"Is there anything you need?" She asked looking at something outside the window that shows the hallway before turning back at me

"O-oh! I just went in the wrong classroom thats all!" Thats when I knew that she already figured it out due to a small smile appearing on her lips

"Avoiding the other detective?" She asks as she crosses her arms

I gave up and nodded before she let out a small giggle

"You know you can't avoid him forever Ouma-kun" I only sighed at her words

"It's just awkward around him, so I thought its better to not make it more awkward by staying away" I admitted

"Well... a little birdie told me that something will happen today" She smirked

"You're not Hagakure....are you?" She hit my head softly with a book

"Its just a feeling, now go on your way to your classroom" She gently pushed me out the room

I sighed "Thank you Kirigiri-San" I politely bowed before walking towards my classroom

Shuichi should be at the classroom already so thats good news for me

This is the only class I have with him so after this I won't see him till next week! Fridays are so fun

I took a deep breathe before opening the door

As usual I got a glare from Maki

I tried to not look at Shuichi as much as possible which was nearly impossible since he's the only person in this room who's eye catching.....to me atleast!

Miu is trying to deez nuts Kiibo again- the poor guy keeps falling for it

Rantaro and Korekiyo are talking about who knows what

Anyways- enough about them, now lets see where Ms. Yukizome placed my seat this semester

I looked around and spotted everyones name except mine

'Hmm...maybe its behind Shuichi' I thought hoping its not true

My breath got caught in my throat knowing I have to walk past Shuichi

I took a deep breath before walking towards where I thought my seat was before someone tugged my sleeve

"E-erm....Ouma-kun your seat is next to mine" a verryyyyy familiar voice said in his usual soft and shy tone

I looked at the person tugging my sleeve and thats when I knew I was screwed for the whole semester

"O-oh! Haha! It was right there! Yup! Besides you Saihara-Chan" I tried to make it look like I wasn't panicking

Shuichi only gave me a soft but awkward smile as I sat beside him trying to not make as much eye contact as possible

Ms. Yukizome finally arrived and everyone else sat in their seats

"Good morning everyone! Today you have new seats for the new semester, please all get along because your seatmate will be your partner for this semester as well" She said in a sweet tone

Some people in the classroom were cheering cause they are seated next to their bestfriend, crush or lover. but me? I was sweating bullets

"Now! I want this class to start off fresh due to....some unfortunate accident-" she eyed Miu "-that happened last semester"

Oh right- Miu blew up the labratory making whatever she was trying to make

"So! This project is about the beauty of our surroundings. What you have to do is take pictures in scenic places and create a portfolio with those pictures and write what you loved about the location"

'This day just got a whole lot worse' I thought to myself
