"Yuri, would you like to have a sleep over together?"
Perplexed, I glance at Monika. What is she saying all of a sudden?
Why would she want to spend the night with me?
Is she considering me a close friend?
"Yuri?"
Ah, I was so caught up in my thoughts I forgot to reply.
"..I-I'd like to.."
"All right, since it's Friday, will we go to my house together after school?"
I timidly nod. I somehow feel more indebted to Monika now.
Is she genuinely interested in spending time with me,
or is she simply putting up with me?
Monika startles me by waving her hand in front of me.
She gives me a gentle smile: "I'm sure that we'll have a nice weekend!~"
"Thank you Monika," I say as the bell sounds.
Today's class seems to be taking longer than usual;
do I want to continue reading my book or do I want the weekend to begin?
When the last bell rings, I pack my belongings and leave.
Monika is waiting for me outside, and I'm having a hard time controlling
my enthusiasm. Was breaktime not enough to keep myself in check?
Monika walks towards me. ok Yuri don't mess this up.
