I don't know what to do...
I just found myself heading to Regie's house, but they weren't there. I tried to call him and it took me few minutes before he answered. Nasa parehong mental institution sya kung saan dating naconfine ang mom nya... And so thus mine
Nang makarating ay agad nya 'kong sinalubong sa may parking lot. He was wearing a plain light blue polo that was folded up to his elbow, paired with a black slux. Looks like he just came from work
"What do you want?" He asked exactly after I get off from the car
"I need to talk to your mom" I answered directly. He looked at me confusedly
Room 105
I took a deep breath before getting in. There, i saw Redge's mom while starring blankly at the window. She suddenly smiled when she heard the door opened
"Lez? Anak?" Saad nya saka unti unting lumingon sa direksyon ko. I sighed
I felt really sorry for her already...
"Ikaw pala iho. Redge, Redge anak nandito ang nobyo ni Lez" nakangiting tawag nya kay Redge, napalingon naman ako sa kanya nang marinig ang paglunok nya saka pilit na ngumiti
"Ma... Gusto ka daw makausap ni Xynon" mahinahong paliwanag nya agad rito,saka muling binaling ang tingin sakin
Naupo naman ako sa isang couch katabi nang kama nya habang sinusubukang magisip kong paano ko sya tatanungin
"K-kilala nyo ho ang nanay ko...h-hindi ba?" Panimula ko, nakinig lang si Redge habang inihanda ang pagkaing tinake out nya
"Oo naman, si Mayora ang nanay mo diba?" Tanong nya, napatango naman ako "Nakasama ko din sya dito pero sandali lang kasi umuwi na din ako samin pagkatapos. Kasama nya ang lolo saka Daddy mo" paglukwento nya na animo'y isang simpleng bagay lang Ito. Pansin ko naman ang pagtataka Kay Redge
So that confirms it...my mom was crazy all along, that's why she always acting strange
"Nung ipapasok na sana sya sa isang kwarto, pinagbantaan nya pang papatayin nya daw ang Dad saka lolo mo. Sabi nya sisirain nya daw ang buhay nila, pagbabayaran daw nila ang kahayupang ginawa nila sa kanya" dagdag nya pa, kunot noo naman akong napatingin kay Redge na halatang nagulat din sa kinwento nang ina nya
What did Dad ang Lolo do to her?
After talking to Redge Mom i decided to head home and rest for a bit. I feel so tired from all the questions and informations that I get, but before leaving I was shocked when Redge gave me something I've never expected him to gave me
"Protection...I heard what happened to your private investigator. You might need it" Saad nya nang mai abot sakin ang baril, agad naman akong napailing saka muling ibinalik yun sa kanya
"I-i can't--"
"Stop being a coward for pete's sake, Xynon!" Sigaw nya dahilan para matigilan ako "You wanted to protect Lez right? Then you need to learn how to use this! Your not a fvcking kid anymore! Especially now that you know who's the real enemy. You can't protect her if you can't even protect yourself Xynon" dagdag nya pa dahilan para mapalunok naman ako "Sinwerte ka lang nung iniligtas ka ni Tito William, pero hindi mo pweding iasa ang lahat sa swerte lang" sermon nya saka sapilitang kinuha ang kamay ko at ibinigay sakin ang baril
"Such b*llsh*ts of them to use such an old plan, your enemy isn't a big big idiot to fall for that kind of stupid plan. So make another one. Wag kang pakakampante hangga't hindi ka siguradong mananalo ka sa laban" dagdag nya pa bago tumalikod at muling maglakad pabalik
He's right...even though the elders have a plan, i still need to make sure that it will work. So instead of going home, i immediately called Kier and asked everyone to meet me at the hang out
"Nagtext si Wyde,hindi daw sya makakapunta! Hindi na daw sila pinapayagang lumabas nang bahay nila" inform agad Louie
"It's okay, I'll just talk to him tomorrow" sagot ko kaya napatango naman sya saka muling nagtype sa phone nya
"So what is it? Why did you called us all of a sudden?" Tanong naman ni Kier, napabuntong hininga pa ko bago ikwento sa kanila ang lahat nang nalaman ko.
Mula sa pagpatay kay Major Mendoza, hanggang sa pagkumpirma kong baliw nga si Mom at isa rin sya sa mga nagpasimuno nang kaguluhang ito dahil lang sa galit nya kanila Lolo at Dad
"W-wait! So you're telling me that my mom was a traydor too?" Hindi makapaniwalang tanong ni Kier. Napatango naman ako
"With tito William's testament and the other reports that I found on the flashdrive, I found out that Tita Kiera betrayed tito Lexus and started spying on their secret project. But she was forced to...because Hilberyo knows her secret..." Ilang na sagot ko
I don't know if I have the right to tell him this...but I don't have a choice. Lies and Secrets are the things that got us into this, and I think it's better if we don't do the same mistake they all did before.
"What secret?" Tanong nya pa uli, napabuntong hininga naman ako
"Your mom has an affair" nakayukong sagot ko
"Fvck..." Napatingin ako sa kanya nang bigla syang mapaupo sa katabing upuan
The entire living room was covered by our deep breaths for a second. No one dared to talk. Afraid that they might know more about their family, that will make them regret sooner or later
"My Dad and i had an argument earlier...fvck!" Muli kaming napatingin kay Kier nang bigla syang inis na natawa "All this time... All this time I thought he was the one cheating, he didn't even try to explain himself!" Napasambunot sya sa sarili nya
"Tama na yan Kier, wala na tayong magagawa kung ganyan ang gusto ni tito na isipin mo" payo ni Louie saka marahang tinapik ang likod nito, napabuntong hininga naman sya
"So what now? I've heard they moved the wedding the day after tommorow, aren't you going to do something?" Baling sakin ni Jeff
"That's also the other reason why i called all of you" sagot ko
I started explaining them about my plan B. If ever that Lez got captured, we will going to use Louie's connection with Hilberto and try to infiltrate their camp site. I'll also talk to Wyde and Tito Will about this plan tommorow.
"Wait so how are you going to convince Lez to marry Wyde?" Tanong ni Jeff dahilan para matahimik ako
"Yeah. No matter how careful you say it to her she'll still be hurt, knowing that she really tried hard to keep your relationship aside from all the bad things that is happening to her, only for you to ask her to marry you're friend? Are you really sure about this Xynon?" Tanong naman ni Kier
Napabuntong hininga ako saka malalim na nag-isip
Can I really do this? Even though I know it's all fake, I'm still hurt just thinking about it...
