Theodore: "...Fight!"
Nero immediately rushes toward Pyrrha, using his hand cannon to fire at her. She lifts her shield to block as the shots beat on her shield, forcing her to stay still. Nero jumping up into the air and uses the vents of his blade to propel him downward towards Pyrrha. Countering in time, she catches him with her shield as she throws him off, but to everyone's surprise, the right wing on his shoulder grabs her shield like a claw, pulling him close as the other wing lands a solid punch to her chest, sending her flying backward.
Nero: "Didn't expect that did you. Don't think just because your some hotshot champ that you can underestimate me. But don't worry, at the end of this, you'll see just how outclassed you are."
Pyrrha: *chuckles* "Don't get too cocky. You landed one punch and wasted it on a healthy opponent. But I'm only getting started."
Dante(mental): "Oooh, yeah! Get him, girl, show this kid what I've taught you."
Pyrrha readies her spear as she begins to run towards Nero, but they meet to clash weapons. Heart-Piercer's spearhead opens as four smaller spears appear behind Pyrrha. They launch into Nero as she seemingly teleports behind Nero. She then behind to spin Heart-Piercer like a saw as the four smaller spears also mimic the movement, both attacks dealing heavy damage to Nero. Pyrrha continues by uppercutting him with her shield, sending him upward, teleporting again up to where he is. She thrust Heart-Piercer in his stomach as the four smaller spears do so as well, shooting him back down into the sandpit arena. Pyrrha lands back on the ground as the four small red spears summon around her.
Pyrrha: "Like that little trick. Picked it up from someone special."
Dante(mental): "Awww. You remembered me."
Pyrrha(mental): "You know I wasn't talking about you, right?"
Back up in the stands, the crowd cheers as Falke watches on with a sense of pride as he sees that Pyrrha has taken to making copies of his summoned swords from his time at Beacon. But his mind still is concerned about those spectral arms that Nero possesses.
Vergil(mental): "It seems she has learned a thing or two from you and Dante."
Demon(mental): "The boy...he carries great power...uncontrolled...if he hopes to control it better, he must first be shown what it is."
Vergil(mental): "Agreed. Uncontrolled demonic power can do more damage to the user than it can to others."
Falke(mental): "Well then, we best hope the two of them can beat Nero before he ends up hurting himself."
Ren: "Falke? Are you doing alright? You seem a bit distracted."
Falke: "Oh! My bad, Ren, just hashing it out with the other two."
Ren: "You mean Vergil and that Demon, right?" Falke nods.
Nero gets up as picks up, and revs his blade again. He and Pyrrha resume their fight as they meet blow for blow.
Ruby: "Man, I hope Pyrrha wins. I want to see both their weapons. They just look so cool!"
Nora: "Come on, Pyrrha! Kick this guy's butt!"
Weiss: "It would be nice to see Pyrrha win this fight quickly; this heat is killing me."
Blake: "It would also be nice to see Pyrrha win. But is it wrong to say that I also kind of want Nero to win as well?"
Falke: "I don't know Blake, but it's starting to sound like you're taking an interest in Nero."
Blake: "What! No way! It's just that maybe if he wins, the rest of the students won't treat us that bad. That's all." Her cheeks were turning a bright red as Falke chuckles to himself.
Back down in the arena, Pyrrha effortlessly sidesteps each of Nero's swings, countering each time with a small spear thrust. Nero continues to swing his blade as his attacks become more erratic, his anger causing him to become blind with rage. Finally, having enough, his body explodes with dark blue energy, the shockwave sending Pyrrha back as the arena goes silent. Falke slowly stands up to looking down at the blue pillar of light in the stadium's center.
Falke(mental): "He's lost it, hasn't he."
Demon(mental): "Correct."
As the blue energy dissipates, standing in the middle of the arena holding Nero's blade is a being covered in black scales resembling human skin. Across his body, the scales harden to form spike-like armor. His wings become more defined as they rest on his shoulders. His hair has changed to all white as it flows down to his shoulders. It resembles that of a human as it looks toward Pyrrha with unyielding anger.
Nero: "Power...my Power." Slowly walking towards Pyrrha.
Dante(mental): "Uhhh...this is new. Okay, kiddo, time to stop messing around."
Pyrrha surrounds herself with fire as it quickly dissipates to reveal herself in her Devil trigger form, but this doesn't seem to faze Nero as he now begins to run towards her. She also begins to run towards him. As his sword is about to meet her spear, a third large explosion of energy stops them both in their tracks. Looking on, in the center of the arena is Falke in his Devil trigger.
Pyrrha: "Falke? But I could've handled it."
Falke/Demon/ Vergil: "I know, but he's far too unstable. I want to make sure he won't hurt himself."
Nero: "Out of my way!!"
Turning toward Nero, he unsheathes the blade as he slashes the area in front of him. Doing so, Nero seemingly slows down to a crawl as Falke slowly sheathes the Yamato. Upon the Yamato clicking into the sheath, Nero falls out of his Devil trigger as his aura has been broken. He slowly collapses to the ground, passing out. Pyrrha and Falke both returning to their original forms.
Pyrrha: "So he's a demon like us?" Falke nodding as he picks up Nero.
As the three of them walk out of the arena, the crowd goes crazy as they have never seen a performance like that in history. V watches on in interest.
Griffon: "Uh oh, V. I know that look what's going on in that poetic head of yours?"
V: "It seems Nero has found his way to those who can help understand what he is...Little wanderer, hie thee home."
