Before whenever Wanda would be back, you'd hug her, tell her how much you missed her and you'd pepper he face with kisses. Then you'd both cuddle for hours and hours together and talk about random stuff. These days after she comes back home all she sees is a melancholy smile on your cute face and you telling her "Welcome back''. Even during cuddles you start shying away from her which is highly unusual for you since you always leap on her when it's cuddle time

You thought that Wanda wouldn't notice you becoming distant but oh she noticed all right. She confronted you about it one day and you plastered on a fake smile and you told her "Nothing to worry about, I'm fine''. Wanda felt kinda hurt that you decided to lie to her like that but she didn't point that out. She would give you your own time to talk about it if you didn't want to talk about it now. She started doing little stuff and sweet things like complimenting you daily to show you how much she loves you and you can always rely on her for anything you need

But then when Wanda found you silently crying, puffy red eyes and sniffling nose, she immediately dropped whatever she was doing and raced towards you like Pietro and asked you "Sweetheart, what happened? Why are you crying? Is everything all right?" she started fussing over you and she held you close to her. You could practically hear the frantic thumping of her heart as she pulled you close, she's that worried about you

As you explained how some douchebags started commenting on how you looked and called you mean names (I'll say this again and again if I have to, do NOT be insecure about your looks, everyone is beautiful in their own way. Don't let some moronic prick tell you how wonderful you are because deep down, you KNOW that you're a king/ queen/ non binary royalty 👑). After you were done telling her your story and the names of the jerks who teased you, she being pissed and livid was the understatement of the MILLENNIUM since that didn't even begin to cover how angry she felt. She felt like using her magic on those numbskulls who made you feel bad about yourself, torturing them taking her own time and finally bashing their thick rotten skulls on the pavement where they'll be merged with the cement once and for all

But Wanda was keeping it together for your sake. She promised herself that she had to get rid of those pathetic excuses of human beings after she completes comforting you since your well being and safety was of the utmost importance to her. She hugged you, cuddled you and whispered sweet things in your ear to calm you down. She made your your favorite food and the two of you ended up cuddling with each other chilling and binge watching shows on Netflix while munching on yummy snacks

She told you funny stories to cheer you up and she said "Sweetheart, I don't want you being insecure of yourself ever again. You know deep down that you are amazing just the way you are and I will always love you no matter what. So... don't go changing yourself to impress others, all I ever ask from you is to just be yourself and do things that you feel comfortable with. All right?" You smiled at her gratefully and she used her magic in you to help you fall asleep peacefully so you won't have to worry about anything in your sleep

Wanda lay next to you and after she made sure you were still asleep, she lightly kissed your forehead, heaved a sigh and scoffed "Right... now time to take care of a few things''. You didn't know that Wanda had snuck out of the house while you were sleeping and she actually murdered the people who hurt you. But you would never suspect sweet, kind caring Wanda to do something like that, right? After all, she only wants to keep you safe and what sort of hero would she be if she can't protect her loved ones? She already lost her parents and brother, she can't afford to lose you too
