with prompt "why the hell is there glitter everywhere?"

In just a few days, it would be Sae Byeok's birthday, and you were torn between throwing her a big surprise party or keeping it more intimate. Either way, you wanted to make it special.
That’s how you ended up surrounded by art supplies, scattered all over the floor as you worked on a large piece of cardboard. You were trying to paint "Happy Birthday Sae Byeok" surrounded by little hearts and stars. But as you twisted open the tube of glitter for the stars, it exploded everywhere.
A sigh escaped your lips, and you decided to clean it up later. For now, you picked up what you could to add a bit of sparkle to the stars.
It took longer than expected, but eventually, you were done. All that was left was hiding the "art" and cleaning up the glitter mess.
You carefully tucked the cardboard away in a spot where Sae Byeok wouldn’t find it, and just as you were about to start cleaning, you heard the front door open.
“Honey? You home?” Sae Byeok’s voice called out, followed by the sound of shoes being kicked off. Then, footsteps toward the living room—the room with all the glitter scattered across the floor.
Panicked, you rushed out, but it was too late. She was already kneeling down, gazing up at you as you entered.
"Why the hell is there glitter everywhere?" She raised an eyebrow, clearly amused.
"Um...art project?" you tried, though it sounded weak.
"Mm-hmm, and this 'art project' has absolutely nothing to do with my birthday coming up?"
"Absolutely not," you said quickly, nodding to emphasize the point.
"Sure, sure. I'll let you believe that. But do clean this up. Glitter is the worst thing to get anywhere. I’m going to be finding it in my hair for days." With a wink, she stood and walked toward the bathroom.
You sighed, nodding to her retreating figure as you resigned yourself to the cleaning job ahead. Glitter, everywhere.
