So this isn't really a oneshot, just a poem that came to my mind in the morning. I doubt it's gonna rhyme lol

Note that this is meant to be from John's POV.

~~~~~~~~~~
She never called me a monster,
She never called me a freak.
But I sure called her a cripple,
Because I was scared of her knowing my past deeds.
~~~~~

When we'd first met I was in awe,
For her beauty rivaled all.
The way she carried herself, the way she strut,
The way she knew she was worth it all.

I made enemies with her at first,
But I lived to tell the tale.
Soon she changed her ways for good,
And our friendship began to grow.

 But the hierarchy never rests,
And it hated us not being foes.
Its enforcers rained upon us,
But we still made it, woohoo :D

She never called me a monster,
She never called me a freak.
But I sure called her a cripple,
Because I was scared of her knowing my past deeds.

~~~~~
Then it all began when she learnt,
That it was my father who wrote the banned book.
She wanted to read it, to know what I'd seen,
When I'd read it too.
But then her roommate knew,
When she saw what she'd read,
That the goddess was changing her stance on the hierarchy,
And she ran to the King, in fret.
The King then learnt who I truly was,
And what I truly hid,
He tore me down, bit by bit,
Till I finally snapped and threw his pride down a ditch.
She never called me a monster,
She never called me a freak.
But I sure called her a cripple,
Because I was scared of her knowing my past deeds.
~~~~~

I was broken, and worn,
That's what she saw when she returned.
And when all seemed to settle down,
She lost her ability, and her respect galore.

 And the people that once bowed to her,
turned on her like savage dogs.
They tore at her and broke her,
Till I couldn't take it anymore.

I decided to teach them a lesson,
And I tore down their pride.
I climbed up the hierarchy,
And made a mockery out of their kind.

She never called me a monster,
She never called me a freak.
But I sure called her a cripple,
Because I was scared of her knowing my past deeds.

~~~~~
But alas! No matter how much I'd tried,
She seemed to have learnt the truth.
That backstabbing King must have told her,
And I didn't know what to do.
She never talked to me, or spoke to me since,
She ignored me for many days.
And when we finally talked,
She confronted me in a rage.
I tried to tell her it wasn't true,
That they were all lies.
But when she said she knew who I was,
I finally lost it all.
She never called me a monster,
She never called me a freak.
But I sure called her a cripple,
And now I'm paying for my misdeeds.
