[name] sucked in a breath, rapping her knuckle against the wooden door, then taking a step back.
The black-painted door was opened, revealing a tired-looking woman, who was both heaving a yawn and rubbering her eye. Though, was certainly not the person she was looking for.
"Oh... I," [name] looked above the door to the number, which she swore was Tess's.
"W-wait... who are you looking for?" The woman asked, leaning against the door frame.
"I'm looking for Tess?" [name] answered.
"Tess? Well, what does she look like?" The lady asked
[name] brought her hand above her head, "about this height, long and curly black hair?"
The woman looks at her like she had a revelation, and smiled, "Tess... I have been calling her Theresa," she purses her lips, "whoops?"
"No... its Tess," [name] clarifies.
"Well come in," she says, opening the door further, and retreating inside.
[name] was quick to hurry after her, following behind. They both stop outside of the master bedroom, peering inside.
"Is that her?" the woman asks.
[name] nods her head, staring at Tess's sleeping form, "yeah," she affirmed.
They both stand there watching Tess snore until her head moved and eyes slowly blinked open. [name] gives a slightly embarrassed smile as Tess gradually wakes up.
