The bright white lights beamed down onto the green grass as the Crimson played their first game of the season
" 332 FLOOD OUT ON TWO" Xzavier yelled to his teammates as he got into position gripping the hard brown football in his hands
hearing cheering coming from the bleachers only made him more nervous
" DOWN- SET- HUT" he yelled as his heart started beating faster
the players moved on both sides of the scrimmage line as Xzavier ran around the field looking for a open teammate
" IT'S ABOUT TA' GO DOWN TONIGHT, THE CRIMSONS ARE READY TA' FIGHT, COME ON- WE'RE HERE TA' WIN THIS GAME AND GET YOU HYPE" Maya started off the cheer before the rest of the cheerleaders did it too
He threw the ball to one of his teammates and started to run closer to the touchdown line
after the ball had been tossed around a good 3 times he caught it and stepped back on to the bold white line
the person on the inter comes announced what happened as the teammates celebrated their first point
About 10 minutes later
" shit" Xzavier cursed to hisself when he didn't catch the ball for the 2nd time
" the fuck is you doing?!" One of his teammates asked getting in his face
" that was my fault, my bad" Xzavier said before quickly looking up at the bleachers
he saw the people that he calls his family but didn't see his girlfriend
they had got into a small argument earlier but he didn't think it was that serious for her not to come to his first football game, the one that he told her that he was excited about
he shook his head before focusing back on football
" GREEN- GREEN 32!" Xzavier yelled to his teammates
the game started up again and you could say he was completely out of it
" focus... focus" Xzavier mumbled to hisself
His coach did the times out hand symbol thing and Xzavier and his other teammates jogged over there
" get yo fucking head in the game!" He yelled at Xzavier
