"Holy shit," Alex said slowly, rasing her eyebrows and nodding. "You actually have a good idea."

"For once." Mia said under her breath.

"You think this is actually gonna work?" Will asked through the walkie.

"Yeah, I mean, we're basically doing all the work, you guys are just distractions." Said Robin.

"So, basically, we put the walkie talkie in the middle of the road," Nancy began to recap Dom's idea. "So the Russians find it, El and Will start unvailing these Russians's plan, and then..." She looked around the room, waiting for someone to finish explaining the plan.

"They'll probably just destroy the walkie, which is why we have an extra, and when we find the gate is, they'll explain how to close the gate." Dustin finished.

"Dom, that makes no sense." Max said.

"How?" Dom raised his eyebrows.

"There are litteraly going to be Russians in and out of the building." She replied.

"But with the walkie talkie-"

"There's still gonna be Russians inside!" Mike cut him off.

Alex thought for a moment, then looked at Dom. "Nevermind, your idea is shit."

"Oh, come on!" Dom frowned.

"What if you locate the gate first?" Will cut into the conversation.

"What do you mean?" Asked Nancy.

"I mean, the gate would be pretty easy to see," said Will. "It's a giant portal to another dimension."

"If you're referencing seeing it through a window," Steve said. "There are no windows."

"Oh." Will sighed.

"Wait." Steve raised a finger. "What if we let them kidnap us again?"

"WHAT?" Robin, Dustin, and Mia yelled in unison.

"Are you that dumb?" Dustin snarled.

"No! Wait! Just listen." Steve replied. "If they take us in, we'll actually look around, and find where the gate is at."

"What if the room is closed?" Asked Robin.

"The doors have windows."

"Yea, but it's probably like, super restricted."

"Well if there's a bunch of caution tape and stuff all over the door, I think it's pretty obvious that that's the gate."

Dustin nodded and thought about Steve's ideas. "Oh, yeah,' he whispered. "That could actually work."

"And if we all die?" Mia asked.

"Well, I guess we die as heroes." Dustin shrugged.

"Let's not go into dying, maybe?" Alex proposed. "Please?"

"Yeah, let's get into that." Nancy shook her head in agreement.

"Okay, then," Dom nodded. "Let's go."

"Wait," El spoke through the walkie.

"What is it, El?" Asked Mike.

"Be careful." She said slowly. She sounded like a mother when she said it.

She sounded like Joyce.

She wished she could be there with them. She wanted to go in with them.

She wanted to protect them. But, she was in a different neighborhood, a different town, a different city, a completely different state.

Even if she were there, she didn't have her powers.

She wanted to protect them...

But she couldn't.
