Demi's POV

Even though Jesse technically apologized, I'm still not over some of the things he said. I'm especially not over him calling me a bad mom because he never even apologized for that specifically. I didn't want things to be weird between us though so I just acted like everything was fine because I was honestly over the arguing. Only a few days later though, Easton was completely off the oxygen and he was thriving. Bentley also weighed enough by then to go home and he passed all his newborn testing, but I wanted to wait until Easton could go home and take them together. In between the hospital and the kids, I was also preparing for the Grammys performance. I did one more fitting, then a rehearsal, and I did an interview for Zane Lowe. It was pretty obvious that I wasn't pregnant anymore, but I appreciated how he just gave me a quick congratulations and then moved on and kept it all about the music. Jesse and I haven't even announced that it was twins, but I wanted to do it when they're home and we're settled in which just might be later today. The doctors had weighed Easton this morning and he was right where they wanted him to be for weight so they took him for all his testing and ultrasounds to make sure he is healthy enough to go home.

"So, if we can take them home today, I was thinking we could just post a small statement that they're here and it was twins? The Grammys are on Sunday, so I think we should do it beforehand." I say to Jesse as Bentley sleeps on my chest since I just got done feeding him.

"Yeah that's fine." He answers quietly with his eyes closed as he lays down on the pull out bed. He was up with both of them a lot last night so I know he's tired.

"Go to sleep. You were up a lot with them." I say since I can tell he's trying to stay awake. He didn't respond though and only a few minutes later I could tell he was fast asleep. About an hour later, the nurses came in rolling in a small cot with our sleeping son and I smiled big when I saw him. "You've been gone an hour and mommy already missed you handsome." I say quietly as I caress his cheek lightly and the nurses chuckle.

"The doctor will be right in to discuss how everything went. He was sound asleep the entire time though. He did a great job." One of the nurses says and I smile bigger.

"Good. I'm glad." I reply just as Jesse starts to wake up. The nurses walk out of the room and I smile as Jesse sits up and then walks over to where Easton was laying.

"They both love their sleep like you." He says chuckling and I smile.

"That's a good thing." I reply and he nods smiling as he scoops Easton into his arms and kisses his cheek softly.

"I get bored sometimes though just staring at them." He says as he sits down next to me.

"True." I reply giggling. As much as I love them, just sitting there watching them all day long is pretty boring. A couple minutes later, the doctor walked in just as both the boys woke up hungry so I got them both situated so I could feed them while the doctor talked to us.

"Easton passed all his tests you guys. With flying colors just like his brother." She starts off with a large smile and I smile big as well. "I am more than okay with sending them home. They both weigh enough and have thrived this entire time. They both are eating well and everything is within normal range. So, as long as the both of you are okay and comfortable with going home today then how about I start getting those discharge papers written up?" She continues and I look over at Jesse excitedly who also looks ecstatic.

"Let's do it." He replies and I nod agreeing with him. She smiles and nods and then goes on to show us all of his testing charts and he did just as well as Bentley did. She then left to start on all the paperwork to go home while Jesse started picking up the room. We've practically lived here these last two months almost so even if we packed up most of our stuff yesterday anticipating to go home soon, there was still a bunch of stuff everywhere. Blankets, clothes, diapers, wipes, food, bottles, pacifiers and the list goes on. Once the boys finished eating, I burped them and changed them before laying them down in their small cribs so I could help Jesse while we called our moms to tell them the good news. They were also ecstatic and couldn't wait for them to come home either. By the time we got off the phone with them, my doctor came back with papers for us to sign and I was very surprised to hear her say that we could go whenever we wanted after we both signed the last papers.
