Zak's POV
When Casey came round today, it was great. She gets along with the guys really well and if I'm honest it's like old times again. Although I did notice that something was off with her, like yeah she looked happy to be here but I could tell that something else was bothering her.
"You sure you're okay" I ask her as I take a seat next to her
"Brandon messaged me" she says
"Wait your ex" I ask
"Yeah said he's sorry and wants to get back together again" she says resting her head on my shoulder
"You ain't gonna are you" I ask
"What no, I wouldn't ever go back to him" she says playing with my hands
"Good cause that asshole doesn't deserve you" I say kissing the top of her head
I always knew I had feelings for her, but I would never make a move because we were heading off to different parts of the world and I just didn't think she felt the same
Casey's POV
Sitting here with him is bringing back all the feelings I have for him. He's my best friend but my feelings run even deeper for him.
"Cas, get over here" shouts Aaron for across the garden
"What now" I say laughing
"Probably wants to show you how small you are in the basketball court" laughs Zak
"Fuck you" I laugh giving him the middle finger while walking away
"You called" I say as I approach the court
"Ah your hear" says Aaron
I already know what he's going to do
"Don't you dare" I say glaring at him
"Don't know what your talking about" he laughs
"Your gonna make me play basketball, knowing full well that I can't reach the net" I say
"But it's funny" he says
"Yeah to you maybe but not to me" I say laughing
"Come on just one game" he says giving me the puppy dog eyes
"Alright fine" I say giving in
*2 hours later*
I lost
I already knew I would but at least I scored twice
Just cause I'm small doesn't mean I can't do shit
"At least you scored something" says Aaron
"Yeah I guess" I say sitting down
"You okay" he's asks sitting next to me
"Yeah I'll be fine" I say staring off
