Today is Lyle and I's first date. When we spoke earlier on the phone, he said his mom was driving us. The few times I've met Mrs. Menendez, she wasn't very nice. Talking about how lyle should go out with someone of higher class. His dad's no better, in fact, he's worse.

'Kia, Lyle's here!' I ran down the stairs 'bye mom' and was out the door. Lyle and I got in the car and we were on our way. 'So, where are we going?' 'the arcade' 'Oh! I hope they have Kung-Fu master! I played it last time and it was pretty fun' I told him

I saw kitty looking at me through the rearview mirror, she was muttered something under her breath about who names their kid after a car. Lyle didn't seem to notice though.

A little while later, we arrived at the arcade. 'I'll be back when they close' Kitty says as Lyle and I got out of the car. She sped off, Lyle and I walked into the arcade.

I saw the game I was hoping for, Kung- Fu master! Running towards it, putting a quarter in, and playing the game. 'So, why doesn't your mom like me?' I ask Lyle, keeping my eyes on the game. 'Oh, don't worry about it, she doesn't like anyone'
