Unknown Trainee

Gen10 X ENHYPEN (En o'clock ep 35)

The staff started shooting and we jumped up and landed quickly exactly how we planned, but when we landed my ankle popped and I almost fell over but caught myself as everyone started acting.

"Woah, what is this place?" Si-woo looked around as we all hummed in agreement,

"Today you will be split into two teams and play a bunch of minigames and then at the end whatever team wins will choose three members from the opposite team to take on a punishment"

The staff held up a hat with 14 folded up papers inside of it. We each went up and grabbed one, and Jake counted down and we all opened them at the same time. I got blue. We all looked around at each other.

"Daniel! We're on the same team" I shrieked as we both hugged each other and jumped up and down.

We got into our separated groups and started talking about team names. My team consisted of me, Daniel, Junwoo, Jungwon, Sunoo, Ni-ki and Heeseung while the other team contained everyone else.

"Team blue, what will your team name be?"

"The Maknae's!" We all turned sideways and held out our hands looking cool

"Plus Heeseung!" He shouted and did the same thing as us. The staff laughed at him and we all joined in as he did a goofy smile.

"Team yellow, what will your team name be?"

"Handsome Idiots"

We all started laughing as they each did a goofy pose. The first game was a nice game for teamwork, the staff would play songs backwards and for only 3 seconds and we had to guess what it was. We chose three people to represent our team.

"Team Maknae's will use Quill, Heeseung and Jungwon. Team Handsome Idiots will use Jay, Sunghoon and Si-woo. First song."

What on earth? I should've had Daniel or Ni-ki go instead of me, because I know nothing. Si-woo was going full on guessing every five seconds getting it wrong. At this point he was naming all the songs in his playlist and he still couldn't get it right. Heeseung was in deep thought, me and Jungwon were talking amongst ourselves confused, Jay and Sunghoon just kept quiet and let Si-woo do his thing.

"Hit Seventeen!" Jay yelled.

"Maknaes! Hit Seventeen" Heeseung shouted right after him. He was supposed to say the team name.

"Correct, point for The Maknaes"

"Technically their name is the maknaes and Heeseung!" Hanuel argued.

"What? No! Our name is Maknaes, Heeseung just added that for laughs" I argued back.

"That should be our point! I said the song first" Jay joined in our beautiful argument. This could've gone on forever until Jungwon shut us all up and let the staff continue on with the game.

The second song played, I had an idea of what it was, but I still had no clue. Jungwon started whispering to me asking if I was hearing BTS Spring day as well. I heard that, but I also heard something else, I just couldn't figure it out. We turned to Heeseung and asked him about it and he said he couldn't hear that song, but to just say it and guess.

"Maknaes. Bangtan Sonyeondan Spring day"

"Wrong"

Well there goes our only guess. I knew it was a BTS song because I can hear Jimin, but I couldn't tell what.

"Handsome Idiots. Bangtan Sonyeondan Lie" Sunghoon called out.

"Wrong"

Maybe it was Euphoria, or maybe Awake. It was a slow song that I knew for sure. Ni-ki started asking for another 3 seconds to listen to. When the next 3 seconds played I immediately heard Heeseung and Jay trying to scream over each other, I looked over at Jungwon who was just watching whatever was happening as they kept screaming over each other. The staff chose our team to go.

"Maknaes. Bangtan Sonyeondan Stay Gold"

"Correct"

Wait, how did I get that wrong? I played that song on repeat for hours, I played it so much Daniel chased me around the house one time. How on earth did I get that wrong? Si-woo was upset that he also got it wrong because he should've also known it thanks to me blasting it around the dorm. I mean hey we got the point but, I didn't guess it. Guess I have to blast it around the dorm more. The next song started, I knew this one like the back of my hand.

"Maknaes! Gen10 Ready, Set, GO"

"Correct"

Oh yeah our debut song made it in. Heeseung and Jungwon high fived me and I could hear Si-woo groan in the background. The staff decided to play the song and my team got up and went over to the other team and started dancing around them. Jake shoved me a little as I went up to him and danced in circles around him until the music stopped and we quickly went over to our side to get back to the game. The next song played and Ni-ki was screaming at me to answer.
