Yes the glory of vacation, people get to relax, visit the beach and all that fun stuff. Yeah no, not me. My old track coach put me in for a competition that I've won thousands of times. Someone from my school went under my name once because he claimed to be as good as me and when he ran, he ended in second to last place so from then on people made fun of our school and mocked them for losing almost everything.
"Seo-jun! I'm so glad you're back. Maybe we could try again with the whole dating thing? If you win, I owe you a date"
Another great thing, my ex. Lim Cho-Hee. She broke up with me for the baseball captain at our school, because apparently running track wasn't a manly sport. Now that I'm an idol she's all over me again.
"Look Cho-Hee, you're cool and all. Maybe that's a bit of a stretch, but anyway I can't date anyone. I'm an idol, a well-known one as well, I can't go dating anyone and taking down my groups reputation"
"Please. I promise no one will know and it'll be our little secret"
"Back off. I said no and that's final, c'mon Do-Woon let's get ready for the relay portion. I bet Baek-Hyun and Ji-Hoon are waiting for us"
I walked off with Do-Woon and I wasn't very happy. I knew she only wanted to "date" me because she wanted to get close to Haneul because he is a nationally known high school baseball player and he is becoming a multinational idol. Loads of people loved him, while in the group I wasn't as liked as everyone else.
"Seo-Jun, snap out of it. You have to be focused for when Baek-Hyun hands off the baton" Do-Woon snapped in my face as we walked to our spots.
"Sorry, sorry. Don't worry, I'll get us another win just like old times"
I was sick of running, I always had this pressure on me to be the best runner. I always sprained my ankle because of how much I had to practice for races, and then when I became a trainee for a short time, I felt better. It was like dancing and rapping was healing for me.
The starting shot went off and I saw Ji-Hoon sprinting around towards Do-Woon. Ji-Hoon was starting as he is our second fastest runner and then Do-Woon, then Baek-Hyun and I would finish it off because I am the fastest runner.
"Seo-Jun! Seo-Jun! Get ready!" Baek-Hyun screamed as he came sprinting towards me as he held out the baton.
Someone was ahead of us and I was the last bet to get first place. As soon as the baton reached my hand I immediately sprinted and caught up with the first place. He was my usual competition who wasn't actually a competition for me. As I passed him, he glared me down and tried sprinting ahead of me when he yelled in anger from tripping. I started to jog as I ran across the finish line and my friends did their usual thing of jumping all over me and knocking me down.
"Yeah! Our champ is back. Come back to track, you are too much of an ace!" Ji-Hoon yelled as they helped me stand back up.
"What? I can't just leave my group, you're lucky I'm back for this week and agreed to run again"
"But you love running. It's your passion, I don't understand why you left to be an idol"
"Hoonie, running will always be my first love, but I got tired. The pressure and my mental condition was terrible, now being an idol I'm better. Hey, if you guys ever have a giant track competition and it's the biggest one of all, I will go on hiatus and come help you win. Got it?"
"Junnie! You are so awesome!" Ji-Hoon shrieked as they all jumped me again in a big hug.
"Seo-Jun! You won, I'm so proud of you" Cho-Hee came running to me with her arms out, thinking i'd take her in my arms.
"No" I pushed her off me and tried walking away when she grabbed my arm. "But, JunJun. We love each other, please give me a second chance. I promise to keep us a secret"
I could hear my friends scoff from behind me as I ripped my arm out of her grasp. "No, I loved you. You love baseball geeks. I'm over you Cho-Hee. Don't touch me or speak to me ever again"
"JunJun!"
I kept walking as she stood there stomping her feet like a small child. I hated the nickname JunJun, I was never going to care for her again. I now have my fans and band members to care about, not no cheating child.
"Seo-jun, your phone" Baek-Hyun grabbed my phone from my bag to check why it was going off. "Oooo, someone named First love with a heart is calling you" Ji-Hoon teased as I snatched my phone from their hands. Looks like Si-woo found my phone again and changed the name without me knowing.
"Si-woo! Stop changing your name on my phone, you're making it seem as if I have a girlfriend" He started laughing from the other side of the call, then turned serious. Wow, Si-woo serious? Something must be wrong.
"Okay no more jokes. Seo-Jun, you're the last member we pretty much need to call. Quill is wanting to go on hiatus before the tour. I was thinking of a group intervention whenever we are done with our vacations, but I texted Daniel and he said Quill will go straight to the airport to head to the States as soon as he and Daniel leave the lake house. Help me out here"
