Kendall POV:
I was sitting next to Squints, watching him mess with the flash light. That's when Smalls came in, looking tired.
"Sorry I'm late, my mom made me put on a jacket, then do the dishes." He said, sitting infront of Ham who was making s'mores.
"Anyone want a s'more?" Ham asked. I raised my hand, he looked at me then nodded his head.
"How many?" He asked. I held up one finger while laying my head on Squints shoulder. Ham nodded again and started making it.
"What's a s'more?" Smalls asked. This kid did NOT have a childhood what-so-ever.
"What?" Ham asked, really annoyed
"I said, what's a-" Smalls started again but I cut him off.
"He knows what you said, idiot" I said
Ham got up, walked to me, gave me my s'more, then walked back to the table.
"This is a s'more" I said, holding up the snack, showing Smalls.
Just then Squints whispers in my ear, making me get butterflies.
"I would hug you right now cause you just said a sentence, but I don't want to fall." Squints whispered. I looked at him and nodded, smiling.
"Anyways, is it time for you to tell the story?" I asked him, he nodded and told everyone to shut up, which they did.
He then went on about the Beast's backstory, some of it made no sense, but its fine. Once he was finshed, Smalls started being stupid again saying its not true. Which its probily not but still. Squints then told him to go to the window and look down. Which he did.
After a while we all started falling asleep. I layed my head on Squints lap, dozing off while he played with my hair.
Not gonna lie, Squints makes me feel safe. When I stopped talking cause of my dad, I told the boys what had happened. Squints became mad at my dad and he was also sad because I wasn't as talkative like when they first met me. I told Squints everything and still do, but one thing I haven't is that I like him. No one knows it and no one will.
I ended up falling asleep, but before I did I heard Squints say/whisper, "Good Night, Princess."
