"Why? Hinahanap ka ni Shontelle hindi ba? You should have left, your girlfriend is looking for you," I said coldly.
He chuckled and went near me to hug me tight. "Let me clear things up inside the little head of yours. First, why would I leave you all alone here? And second, I do not have a girlfriend. I'm practically courting my ex right now," he whispered in my ear.
Agad ko naman siya natulak at nilakihan ng mata which made him chuckle. "May duty ka ba mamaya?" tanong niya sa akin, I mentally noted my schedule. Day off ko today pero on call pa din ako.
"On call ako today," I replied. He smiled and nodded. I went inside my bathroom to take a bath. Pag labas ko he was already sitting down. I raised an eyebrow at him. "At talagang hindi ka pa umalis ha?"
He frowned and pulled me papunta sa table. Kinuhanan niya ako ng pagkain at nilagay sa plato ko. "Here, you eat all of this," nanlaki ang mga mata ko. Ang dami!
"Teka lang! T-this is too much. Hindi ko mauubos to!" pigil ko sa kanya pero nilayo niya sa akin ang plato nang akmang ibabalik ko ang ibang pagkain.
"No no no. You need to eat! Kulang pa nga ang mga ito. Look at you! You are thin as f*ck my love!" I blushed when he called me 'my love'. Anak ng kambing Tadahiro Kane bakit ka ganyan? Konti nalang mamahalin ulit kita.
Habang kumakain bigla nalang nag ring ulit ang phone niya. He was hesitant to answer it at first but I told him it's okay. Baka emergency pa 'yon sa company nila. He answered and put it to speaker para daw marinig ko rin.
"Hello?" he answered.
"Tada hijo, si mommy 'to," I heard the sweet voice of his mom. Bigla ko tuloy na miss si tita. I sighed and continued eating my food.
"Ah. Yes, mommy. What is it?" he asked. They talked about their company for a bit. "Hijo, tonight is the company's anniversary. Baka nakakalimutan mo na," his mom told him. He bit his lip. So nakalimutan nga niya?
"Yes mom. I know," he answered.
"So you'll be with Shontelle again tonight?" he looked at me kaya agad naman ako lumayo ng tingin at nag panggap na hindi ko narinig ang sinabi ng mommo niya.
"No mom, I'm with her right now,"
"Oh? Shontelle?"
He sighed. "Si mommy ang slow. HER mom."
His mom squealed so loud agad niyang nilayo ang phone. "Oh my! Yes son! Bring her tonight please!"
He hung up the moment they finished talking. He looked at me and smiled pero inirapan ko lang siya. Her pala ha. Hayop!
Natapos na niya ang pag huhugas ng plato, "Alis tayo mamaya," biglang sabi niya sa akin. I scoffed. "You have a party to attend to, hindi ba? You should go now. Baka ma late ka pa," taboy ko sa kanya pero tinawanan niya lamang ako.
"Paano ako aalis kung wala pang damit ang partner ko?" kumunot at noo ko. At talagang binabalita niya pa ha.
"Edi bilhan mo! Umalis ka na nga."
He laughed at me. "Love, that is why I'm asking you out right now."
"Ha?" ay potek ang slow mo Celestine Eliana!
He pulled me closer to him. "You are my partner for tonight, my love."
Bigla niya nalang ako hinila palabas ng condo at sumakay kami sa sasakyan niya. We went to the nearest salon to have my make up done. I told him I can do it myself pero he insisted.
The worker also gave me the dress I'll be wearing for tonight. I looked at it and smiled, ang ganda. It is an above the knee red fitted dress.
"Kanino po galing ito?" magalang na tanong ko, I'm sure as hell Tadahiro did not pick this one. He hates short dresses.
"Si Mrs. Amalier po, ma'am," she replied. Napatawa na lamang ako. Kahit kailan talaga si tita.
They started doing my make up, I saw Tadahiro sitting outside the make up room. He is reading some magazine. Naka bihis na rin siya. Damn he looks hot with that suit.
"Sir, ready na po si ma'am," rinig kong sabi ng babaeng nag ayos sa akin.
I went out and smiled a bit, ang awkward!
His eyes were glued to me. I saw how he bit his lip. Lumapit naman siya kaagad sa akin.
"Damn, mommy anong ginawa mo sa baby girl ko," he whispered
