𝐈𝐭 𝐃𝐨𝐞𝐬𝐧'𝐭 𝐄𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 [𝟏𝟖+]

So there is some stuff I have to warn you about before reading my story. 

1. I don't care if nobody reads this, or how underread my book is,

If you steal my shit, I'll hunt you down and kick your ass!

Creating a work of fiction takes real mental and physical effort. So stealing someone's hard work is not cool! 

2. The description doesn't do much justice to my friends-to-enemies-to-lovers-to-enemies-to-lovers-again story. You heard it right 😌

3. English is not my first language and if you find mistakes or typos of any kind, feel free to correct me. I study English lit so I hope there won't be too many errors 'cus that would be an embarrassment to every teacher who taught me. 

4. There will be violence, some gore, use of drugs and alcohol, swearing, mentions of rape and suicide, deaths of maybe the characters that you've grown to love that are guaranteed to make you cry and explicit sexual content. Yes. Smut. *wiggles eyebrows aggressively*. But you horny creatures will have to wait for it because I don't make smut for smut's sake. I want emotions other than just lust involved in the deed so that might take time. So anywhoo viewer discretion is advised. It would be better if you're 18+ *inserts sly smirk* Which, you and I both know, won't be the case. Also, I'll be sure to put a warning before smut.

5. There is an insane number of characters in the story that might fuck up your brain. So please bear with me. I'll try to make it worth the ride.

6. There will be 2 parts to the story because I don't have the mental capacity to make a sequel and wanna end it in a go. I believe the readers would love that too. If there even are any *sighs*. Many new characters and new struggles will be introduced in the second part too. But in the future, if I think making a sequel is more appropriate, I might do that.

7. I'll try my best to avoid cliche, even though some stuff is accountable to the unavoidable tradition of repetition of the same ideas or story arcs. Many of the incidents and character traits are inspired by the movie Godfather and a plethora of mafia romances I've read on Wattpad like Diavolo by uxecila, Over My Dead Body by RebelleFluer00, Midnight Mafia Novel Trilogy by ObsceneIrrationality , A Dangerous Captive by mypleasingmemories and the like. My female lead is also inspired a little by the character of Daenerys Targaryen of George R R Martin's The Song of Ice and Fire series. But don't worry she won't end up on dragon-back burning the whole U.S. (I still personally think it's D&D's fault btw) And yes The beginning is set in the U. S and I'm not even an American😂

8. I will incorporate some gifs and images to this story, if it is something that bugs you please let me know in the comments so that I can remove them. I will also add music with most of the chapters 'cus I'm a sucker for listening to music while reading. 

9. I'm more of a showing rather than telling kinda gal while writing so for example I won't directly tell you about a person's character by describing his or her behaviour or attitude or tell you about the history and geography of the characters and their families. It's for the readers to find out through contexts and dialogues. 

10. Even though there are funny and fluffy elements, this work deals with the story a little seriously and realistically. So deaths are inevitable in the underworld for those who work in the syndicate and for those who're associated or involved with it directly or indirectly. Make sure to keep some tissues with you. Don't worry the ending would be happy (ig) 😬

11. The plot is a lil complex so the beginning might confuse a lot of people because as I mentioned before I show rather than tell and let my characters speak for themselves. So the untangling of all the shit can take time. But do not fret, keep reading. So don't go like "wtf is she talking about" or "who the hell is this dude". 😂 Every mystery will be solved and every question will be answered. At least that's what I hope to achieve. If plot holes still remain, please get that to my attention so that I can try and solve it. 

12. I will give equal importance to writing in male lead's POV, female lead's POV, third-person POV and sometimes other characters' POV too to see the world I created from their eyes. It will make the story more interesting and informative.

13. I love constructive criticism and feedback from my readers. but please don't comment stuff like "this shit sucks". It would turn my already deteriorating mental health into a downward spiral. And if you do that...
