Chapter 5 - Morning Monstadt

I've been sleeping alone for.. gosh who knows how long. I can hardly remember the last time I slept with anyone and it probably was my mother. After that.. it was just me.

That being said.. for someone like me me why do I have a king sized bed? Oh my god I just realized by ginormous baron bunny is also on the bed as well. Lumine is just casually reading a book while using my comically large baron bunny as a pillow.

You know.. there's a saying that goes "Make yourself at home." Well Lumine literally did just that. I love it!

"Amber, this giant baron bunny is incredible. I would love to have one, but it will be really hard to carry around. I was thinking.. how about have like a mini.. mini Lumine bunny or something right? I can sew it to my waist and have it dangle around. It's like a small charm for me."

"Consider it done, Lumine. Anything specific you'd like for your Lumine bunny?"

"For one.. a better name. Although it's the best I can think of. Two, I want her to have like.. a hug pose. Like my little Lumine charm is hugging something. I'm going to use like.. some super glue or something for this to work, but essentially I have a little gem I carry around with me. Once I resonate with a statue of the seven and depending on the region, my outfit glows a different colour and at the moment it's green turquoise I don't know. Basically my Lumine bunny will carry around a glowing crystal."

"That's just so cute Lumine. Alright then it should take me less than a day. We just have to focus on getting you earn some mora as well as saving mora."

"Hahaha yeah.."

There's a funny look on Lumine's face. I can tell that she spends mora on something else.

"You know, Lumine, I'm still wonder how someone  like you would be in shortage of mora. Bounties pay a lot and I can imagine how many bounties you've done so far. What are you spending your mora on??"

"Umm.. well.. Ehh.. Yeah I have to tell you. If I'm going to live here then I should be honest with you. Aside from spending obscene amounts of mora on artifacts.. I spend mora on learning new cooking recipes, talents, new swords since I don't have enough materials for a good sword, food.. lots of food."

"Umm- why the swords?? How many swords did you break so far??"

"About.. a lot. I don't keep count and can you blame me? There's a reason why they are only a two star rated sword. I need more crystal chunks and white iron for a four star sword."

"Uh huh.. well, Lumine, I hope you realize that you're apart of the knights of Favonious. Which means any sword in the armoury is for you to use."

"Wait really?! I can just walk in, take a sword, don't need to elaborate and leave? I never knew that.. I spent so much money on buying new swords oh my god I feel stupid now. Such a waste of mora.."

"You'll have a pile of mora in no time, Lumine. Just let me keep your savings. That way you aren't able to spend mora on ridiculous things."

"Yeah.. hey, Amber, did you know that I spent 50,000 mora on a shiny rock? A wandering trader said that it has powers of the seven.. I bought it, used it, nothing happened, I got scammed."

I can't blame her though.. any connections to the seven is valuable. Still, poor Lumine. That's a lot of Mora she lost over a shiny rock.

"Just be careful with really expensive purchases next time, Lumine."

"Yeah yeah I'll try to. Anyways, who was at the door? Was it Saiken?"
