That afternoon I biked home with Yeji. She annoyed me the whole ride, but I have to admit she's kinda entertaining. I was relaxing in my room, listening to some simple music through my headphones. I just got off the phone with Beomgyu, who was upset with Ryujin. When it came to Ryujin, Beomgyu was incredibly soft, so anytime he made her upset, he had no idea why and would go on long tangents until he found out the problem. It was almost always his fault.

I tried to listen to the song playing in my ears, but I couldn't get Yeji's words out of my head. Is that truly the plan? Is it necessary for me to make Lia jealous to really understand her feelings for me?

It's not like she would care. She has Jeno.

Right?

A light tap came from my door. My song was coming to an end, so I was able to hear it clearly. "Come in."

Slowly the door opened, and Lia's tiny figure stepped into my room.

"Since when do you knock?" I moved back onto the bed, leaving her a spot to sit beside me.

"Well, I don't have to knock, but I was trying to respect your teenage male privacy," Lia said, sitting beside me and smiling at him. She sat down and made herself all comfortable.

I scoffed at her comment and removed my headphones from my ears. "What's up?"

"Nothing, I just got home an hour ago and wanted to check up on you."

"Check up on me for what?"

"I canceled our plans for today. Did you feel lonely without me?" She rested her head on my shoulder.

"Pfft, you get one date and your ego hits the roof. I actually hung out with another friend today."

"Beomgyu?"

"No. Yeji?"

"Since when were you friends with Yeji?" she said, lifting herself from my shoulder.

I shrugged. "Today, I think?"

"Oh." She leaned back down on my shoulder. "I guess that's nice."

"So uhm, how was hanging out with Jeno."
