Unrelated - First Poem Pog?

Maybe you could stretch and link it to Blue by saying it's him being led by something? I guess they're an 'OC' lmao. Not a ship - kinda like a version of Dream though, so maybe if you wanna view it that way.

Basically, I want some feedback on a random poem I made, because I wanted to, and because it came to me randomly.

I'm shit at poetry so I really do apologise, and I really do apologise for the lack of updates too. 

Suffocating light, all around.

They say it comforts you a lot

But I can say that it does not.

I had not even begun to foresee,

What the light may have done to me.

It blinded my eyes,

And burned my skin

A thousand degrees,

All-around and never stopping

Never even thinking of dying,

No, it smiled, lying.

For how could something so

Beautiful looking

Tell a begging human, 'no',

When they asked for their life

To be spared.

How could it have cared?

I would not have if I were it.

'Come.' The light said,

'Be not afraid of my light'

'Let it guide you through tonight'

'And your fatuous existence onwards'.

It was at this point, I realised,

I would have rather have been dead.

Maybe I was,

They say you see the light

Of the Heavens when you die

But I wonder, was it all a lie?

For all I see is a path of darkness

Chilling and cold

A great relief after a day so old.

'Let us go through the maze' The light said,

'My light will guide you,'

'O how I know the path, so well'

'Like the back of your mortal hand.'

The light said, stroking it dearly.

Oh, how it burnt and hurt.

But I would not voice my pain.

As my efforts would have been in vain.

For how could something so

Beautiful looking

Look upon something such as me

An ugly being with no glee

Of being in front of something

So delicate and dainty and deathly.

It could not

And it would not

I was not special

Nor was I worth the hassle

It thought so sometimes

When it looked back at me

A face of bliss

So easy to miss

But it looked happy and content

To guide me ahead

Through the chilling and cold

And the darkness and the old

And the path of my death.
